DislikedMy HASv1 failed again today. I still quite happy with my settings, so we will see what happens over the next few weeks. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I had the same results. Settings look good and having faith in the system comes with time and testing and then having fait in the system that over time it will produce positive results. I think over time this will produce and the good days will outweigh the bad.Ignored
Disliked{quote} In the past (about 6 months ago) this type of HAS setup was tested and in general did show good results. I believe as long as we are fairly conservative and not push the EL too far, keep a good SL setting, then we should win out on average.Ignored
DislikedAll, Just some feedback on my attached screenshot from my DB. As you can see I set an equity lock of 12/10. On my graph I would have expected the DB to put in some sort of marker or line at $12 (I've put my own marker in at 12 just for reference)? My graph shows that $12 was well exceeded meaning I hit my EL (pretty sure I have this right). I seem to remember seeing other graphs here on the forum that had a marker put in by the DB. If someone can please clarify would be appreciated. Thanks.{image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Next version this weekend. On the TS chart: Total trades for that pair that are open and the total lots being used by that pair.Ignored
Disliked{quote} There would have been a trailing marker but you are set up for "Go at Profit", so your target EL was reached and closed out with $22.04 profit. Now the trading has restarted with a new target, the EL marker does not show up until the 12 has been passed. If you want the trading to stop after first target or loss reached you need to set the "Go at Profit" button to "Stop after 1", then the marker would have been left on the chart.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Just to add to the mix here are a few results from a short time ago on @ Asia open following the one n done approach and testing HAS/Swing, HAS/Swing/Semafor and HAS/Swing/Semafor/RSI and focusing on EL/TP ratios for a daily take away as if they were live sessions. Normally we see the same results from HAS in general and are either in the red or green together at this hour so I am surprised as to why ours worked out different. Generally still finding HAS/Swing/Semafor to be the best performer. The last chart uses the 10/5 EL. Any how some...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm considering whether for going Live, I should be disabling the Add-to option and taking the more conservative approach. For example the HASv1 setup does not use any add-to's, but has been giving good results. I need to test both setups in parallel, to see which way is likely to be more successful.Ignored
DislikedHere is where my 28 pair basket is at this morning. I had to restart everything as my network providers DNS server went down so I lost the DB info. After the restart I turned on the EL and will let it take itself out if it wants to. Not bad for less than a day so far. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Think I'm in agreement JustUncleL although I was getting better results with Add_On_Pullbacks than Add_To_Swing. Given the SL ATR was not behaving this week and other changes Gene may be inserting into the code, I am going to extend my testing for a further week focusing on daily Asia & London HAS/Swing/Semafor with varying SL/EL and perhaps with a fixed TP setting as if they were live, targeting min 100 pips per setup. Of course saying all that may be worth taking a look at this one attached from today with a whopping 800 pips potential!...Ignored
DislikedHere's a couple results for Friday All Pairs HAS+Swing+Sema : a lot of ups and downs {image} All Pairs HAS+HAS2+Swing : not many trades, probably markets are not in a trending mood. I'm hoping replacing Swing with the new BO entry in the upcoming update will help this trend following setup. {image} CORE5 HAS+HAS2+Swing : Nice Pullback catch with the trend, terminated on EL hit. {image} {image} I had no other Basket's fire.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Good results. Just to sync up on my week's test plan ahead, would be great to receive your feedback. Thinking of focusing on HAS/Swing/Semafor with 2 different TS SL ATR settings of 2.5 and 3.0 (so far better results on 2.5), DB SL=10, DB Send_SL_To_Broker = 1 ADR and using Add_To_Trade_On_Pullbacks (only) with the following EL settings using 0.01 LOT: EL 7/1 EL 10/5 EL 14/7 EL 15/10 EL 20/10 We'd also have a control test of HAS/Swing/Semafor with no restrictions just as a comparable. I have the opportunity of running quite a few consecutive...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Next week I will not be able to do any testing except for Monday, as I'll be away on Holidays. I assume the DB SL=10 is actually the BE SL=10, originally that button used to have that label, I'm not sure why Eugene changed it as we now have multiple buttons with the same Label, maybe Eugene could address that in the next DB update.Ignored
