holding a small long from 1.1354 when price could not break the last week high,,,stop is just under the last swing low lets see ho how it plays out,,

plus looking at the dollar index ...i seeing a potential bullish move from 96.22

if price leave a tail on a significant area like you mentioned the long averge and dropped on the next candle,,,does that tail get significant for a future buy or sell area??

they get filled in if there was another below the weekly low then the low probably would have been broke ,, but we know whats significant about the area already ,, its a previous low

The big one would be last weeks low ,, the daily opens in yellow ,, the others are shoulder areas from sell off points ,, most being the previous days low ,,is where the head area or like the blue circle,,,,, still getting held up from a shoulder level basically

I like a 2 hour chart ,,, sure you remember the run up in december ,, square white box ,,its just come back down claiming same levels back ,,, now at a decision area ,, eur likes going from weekly high areas or around weekly R1 back to weekly low ares or around S1 ,, has done it for months ,,, ,,this last high went to a mid point on the daily and a bit more selling ,, takes a bit more buying to over come ,,nothing more nothing less ,,,, if trnding one way or the other the high or low ares get used to futher the trend ,,, or a trend may continue from the pivot area

put some quarterly numbers to it ,, below the open and but trying to hold on to last quarters S1 level which was a quarterly low way back yonder ,, fighting the bear flag from the daily in previous post ,, below the open ,, so a bearish tilt longer term for sure ,, but nothing a strait shot ,, tradeing the weekly levels back and forth with in the quarterlys has worked well for a long long time lol

Monthly you have a high a low and a mid point of all the data you will get when you pop a chart up ,, failure at where ,, the mid point ,,trying to use the mid point of the 2 year range to get gathered back up ,,everything has collided in one F^&king boring ass stretch of trading as it gets sorted out

I wouldnt be able to do anything on that chart!

i would need to look at the trend on daily and H1.....then wait for a pull back on H1 and move to m15 or m5 to place a trade with the trend.....place stop using the daily ATR on the timeframe in question. Take profits when macd lines cross or there or thereabouts. But thats more day trading, rather than swing etc.

i also font know shit compared to digs / eng etc, so maybe dont follow me!
