Why on Earth would you buy any iJunk??I am a Windows guy on principle. I did have one Apple computer, this one. {image}
I've been a somewhat slow convert to Apple but am now firmly an Apple guy. I now own 2 Macs. An iMac and a MacBook Pro. I still have my iPhone 7+ which is still going strong and last time I checked it was worth $399 trade in through the Apple store. I can get more on Craig's list. Both the IMac and MacBook Pro will command a decent trade in value in 2 or 3 years which is about how long I keep any computer. Any Microsoft based hardware will essentially be junk in 2 to 3 years but I have to say Microsoft is improving. Having said that I still have a Microsoft Surface "laptop" that is a little over 2 years old and it has served me well but the Apple stuff to me is superior in terms of hardware and software. The Microsoft Surface has zero trade in value at this time. I left MT4 sometime ago so I am no longer hostage to that Microsoft-based platform and now trade using Oanda's online platform. Since I'm not addicted to useless indicators it has made no difference in my trading. Even if I needed a Microsoft based program, which Apple now accomadates most of, I could use Parallel but so far I haven't needed it.
In summary Apple products seem to be of higher overall quality. However, Microsoft is now building higher quality material since they now manufacture their own computers and have recognized the need to do so. But Apple trade in value is superior. I also like walking into my local Apple store and getting answers to any question I have for free.
