Morning all, currently short . 60min Hiddend divergence? {image}

Morning,

Just to add 5 min chart with my analysis.

EDIT: EMA did not break "Res"(resistance) at point "X" first sign of weakness on bull side. After that bears found support (yellow line), Fast RSI below Slow RSI, fine signal to go short (gray vertical line 09:55)

Bullish Alan div on H4 thus signaling the end of the run of last Thursday’s bearish Alan div that fetched 170 pips on the stretch.

Let’s see what this one will bring. The mission of the bearish Alan div on H1 on the hour is not clear to me but that of H4 will prevail finally.

Meanwhile the M5 rally is on with the bull support at 2849

It's a little bit puzzling to me. That H1 div appeared after the close of a bullish candle meaning it is bearish. But 28959 is still ahead.

Meanwhile, we now have bearish Alan div on both M30 and M15 though M5 is yet to allign with them. To me, the M5 bullish run is not looking smooth any more. In fact, the M15 run is a close at the moment. In any case, I am out with 20 pips; started the day not long ago. Now on the side line, watching

I took it from the AB=CD measured move. We don't want to see a close below C

Hope my understanding is correct Alan in that since bulls failed at EMA I was looking for shorts on 5 min targeting the avg LL.

5m short on 09h00 candle as HD was present. Hedged at 09h25 upon bullish RSI div.

Shorts out at BE. Keeping hedge now as "risk-free" trade.

Took 5 pips on hedge. Choppy at the moment. Maybe the MMs are waiting for earnings data?

GU is in a directionless mode at the moment hence the quiteness.

On my own chart, there is no Alan (RSI) div on H1. However, looking at PA, I get the impression there is a figure GU is targeting southwards before a direction will manifest.

Does your own chart capture the Alan div on H4 of yesterday? If that is so, then GU will eventually fly up

H4 Alan divergence is there. Strange about the H1. I've checked both my broker accts and that 1H divergence is present in both feeds.

David, what you have marked on your H1 chart is not an Alan divergence, but a regular bullish hidden divergence that normal RSI practitioners use. Alan's divergence is one where the RSI14 and RSI5 show divergence between them.

The Alan's divergence on the H1 TF in this case came in here:

Hope this helps.

PS: Apologies, I was looking at Bydyke's chart when commenting on yours. At the time there was Alan's divergence when you drew it, correct. This is one of the situations I was referring to earlier in my posts to Alan, but guess I didn't phrase it well then
