Bullish index trade strikes getting hit today....needed SPX 2650, XRT 44.5 or better, IWM 146.......BUT....this is happening 1 to 2 weeks early on time spreads......

been sitting on this idea, as I am expecting the spoos to rally all the way thru earnings. We have DJT's "major announcement" in a little while - maybe a wild card there. Another is news from China trade talks in coming weeks. Anyway, I remain bullish. With the way things have been moving, I could easily see some 100-pt bull weeks upcoming.

Probably look for a $2 spread SPX diag for good credit up around 2800....Feb1/Feb4 2790/2810 diag calls was a 45c credit Friday

Maybe shop some earnings trades as the best of Q4 comes in over the next few weeks.

The last few pages of the cherry picks issue is a good guide.

Looking at getting into the following before the close:

EDU Feb19 75 PUT @ $1.75 or better

Will pay $1.80 if I have to....not moving much this afternoon...

Partial fill at $1.75, the remainder at $1.80. Average just over $1.78....not too bad.

Should be good for a few bucks.

It may eventually get there, but by the indicators, it looks like in the next few days it is going to drop enough to make some quick cash. With the average daily range roughly $3, a two day drop would make good money....

tastyworks did a study of stock moves after earnings - generally big moves up were followed by continuing moves up or ranging sideways - usually not be reversals. Anyway, good luck, money.
