Disliked{quote} No mate. It's run non-stop. I do stop my PC during Friday close - Monday open of the market but the EA is run non-stop.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi guys, If anyone is thinking of trading tomorrow or has postions open I would highly recommend you at least limit £ and € exposure. There is a crunch Brexit vote here in U.K. parliament tomorrow (Tuesday 14th) and it’s the most significant vote on Brexit since the public referendum in 2016.Ignored

DislikedSo its been a sad start to 2019 for Hybrid v1.2. Having almost reached +1000% profit in 8 months, the Hybrid v1.2 account did not survive. With the weakness of AUD and the strong downtrends since beginning of December, Hybrid could not hold on any longer and blew out. It was doing so well, and I really thought it would get itself out of the hole like it has done so many times before, but with a -700 pip drop on AJ and near -400 pips drop on AU, the counter trend logic could not hold on any longer. This has been a learning curve for me...Ignored
DislikedLooking back at the flash crash and how it affected so many pairs, and how it blew 2 of my accounts, and after doing some back tests to see what settings could have survived it, I would say that having a much larger account balance to handle the DD or having lower risk settings could have perhaps helped. I was not running high risk set ups per say and if I had set a more safe setting it might have survived, but running that setting would not make as good a profit. I have started 2 new accounts with adjusted settings that should be a lot safer if...Ignored
DislikedI'm wondering if someone can cast their eyes over my settings. EA entered sell, but market went bullish. There was no cost averaging. Is this not what the tapout feature should do? Could it be that I had a powercut about 3 hours after the trades were taken which lasted for about 3 hours in total? I'd be very grateful for any guidance. Thanks {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} johnsmith2nd from looking at your settings you seem to have only 1 cost averaging logic being used. Perhaps adding Hybrid_Start & RevolutionNN_Start will increase the cost averaging and you will see more action. I would also increase the time delay and step order, they are set quite aggressive. In all of my back and forward testing I did not find using the TapOut function beneficial or more profitable so I have set to false. I would also suggest to set the Minimal Trailing Profit to 3 if you are using 0.03 lots to get more profit.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for the reply. I will test with hybrid start cost average. Just to confirm I should change settings from 200 to 0 (zero being cost averaging starts after the first trade level?) These settings are relatively aggressive, and my conservative account has a much higher time delay and step order where I am seeing very steady profits. Thank you again.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes to activate one of the cost averaging inputs change it to 0. Personally I've been using a 300 time delay and 100 step and its been good at making profits but still relatively safe.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you, I have been using 300 time delay and 100, bearing in mind i'm on M5 charts too. Will there be conflict of using multiple cost averaging methods? i.e. hybrid start + rev NN etc?Ignored
