{quote} Of course, I just felt this trade was pretty straight forward, on curve trend is up. price in dz on curve/trend/entry tfs, s&f long from entry tf lower fresh dz, stop just below this zone, target just before 1h supply which was created by momentum break, risk reward a bit bigger than 1:4
Ignored
Thanks.

One question though? If we have a break in momentum line...then as per the rules we are not allowed to continue trading in the direction of the TL that was broken until we reach 1x higher TF zone...or we have to wait for confirmation at the next zone after the break of TL. Did you consider this?

We do get a confirmation...not a great one as we are dealing with very small TFs...see below:

S&F is a bit aggressive for me as per the rules, not to say that that trade can’t work out profitable over time.

Just my 2 pence worth.

Hi AKT,
Thanks for sharing the long opportunity for EURCAD in weekly TF. The opportunity looks attractive.
Would like to share my trade plan for EURCAD as i have gone through the Top Down analysis. I used H4 as my entry TF

Your second chart is the correct one in my opinion, where you have circled is a valid low to draw a TL

Thanks for your comment miyagifx,so if the second chart is valid and as it is on the chart we had a break in uptrend line and formed supply, and now having a retest of
that monthly supply.my question is can the weekly demand zone hold off monthly supply??(personally i don't think so).Reason for the question is based on AKT's update on EURCAD weekly demand zone.

Price can and do whatever it wants, we are just playing a probabilities game. Can the weekly DZ remove the M1 SZ...of course it can...price may not even reach the W1 DZ and still shoot up and remove SZ...price could remove both DZs. There are endless possibilities that price may do. We do not guess what price will do. If we stick to our rules and there is no clear set up...then we move on and look at another pair.

Hi guys, just wanted to share a few trades I have taken this week so far....any feedback would be great!

GBPJPY (Before)

Weekly:
We are close to weekly SZ that was produced from the "Flash crash" across all JPY pairs.....no longs allowed. Can look for shorting opportunities.

Daily:
Approaching SZ within W1 SZ, trend is down.

4h:
Fresh and original 4h SZ at distal of W1 and D1 SZ, i placed a set and forget with TP at opposing 4h DZ

This one should raise some questions with a few of you.....as we know, there was a major Brexit vote today so ideally we shouldn't trade around the news. We all know that news is priced into the market and as such, if I see a set up I will take it anyway. I will not open a trade on a pair 1-2 hours before and after major news in relation to the currency pair though. My pending was hit this morning (5:22 GMT) and price dropped all the way down to my TP before the news was released. Had price not reached my TP, I would have closed the trade manually 1-2 hours before the vote was being taken.

EURCAD (Before):

Weekly:
Testing fresh DZ, no shorts allowed. Allowed to look for long opportunities

Attached Image (click to enlarge)

Daily:
Into D1 DZ, need to wait for confirmation on 4h or set and forget at 4h fresh and original zone.

4h:
We got a confirmation on the 4h with the break in downward TL, I had seen that price had come close the the DZ but not touched it so I thought I would place an order at that zone for a "True" test of the zone. I had an extended PM with a couple of 4h SZ I would have kept an eye on and taken profits at those zones depending on how price reacted.

This one ended up being a loss. Any advice on this trade would be great. Any thoughts on taking the trade after the first "near" touch to the 4h DZ? Does the ranging of price above the zone suggest there are no significant buying at the zone and hint at the possible weakness of the zone?

Thanks

MiyagiFX

Hello MiyagiFX,

Allow me to share my view on EURCAD when it comes to dealing with this kind of scenario.

Even though the downward momentum line was broken with strong fashion, I would wait for the price to eliminate 4HR supply above or the congestion area (green box). I am using this kind of confirmation to my every trades regardless of bigger picture trend is on my direction. I miss some trades but I still feel okay that I am following my rule.

Please bear in mind that this is just my sets of rules to use this methodology.

Regards,
thiha

Hello MiyagiFX, nice trade GBPJPY trade, what about EURCAD I see it`s same setup as GBPJPY but long, so I would enter from lower one 4h dz within Week/Daily dzs (price is there right now)
And about your confirmation enter, you had 2:1 R:R and I suggest you to not leave money in the market and get out with nothing
