DislikedI have closed the H4 Core5 setup I have set up the swing / Has on all single pairs just prior to the London open, set the TP to $50 for a oneNdone and woke up this morning to a little bit of profit. The H1 seems to work a lot better than the H4 for some reason. Also using add to trade with each swing and marty is activated. Interestingly the DD was the same as the profit so you can easily get into trouble if you use higher lotsizes as others have mentioned. {image}Ignored

I recall my SL setting was set at 3, did not bother me on day one but day two it killed me. I have changed SL to 1.5 for next week to try and nip the losses in the butt however i am afraid that is not enough room for the trade to mature. I like Seller9s recent no SL idea but can't quite bring myself to do it (yet). TP, hummm... this one I can not remember at the moment, buying a new notebook now

As you know all stop losses in the TS and DB are all hidden from the Broker, but if your network connection goes down or your computer fails you can be in danger if the market goes against you.
For protection on a live account use the Broker SL settings in the DB settings for protection. You can set them wide enough to give your pairs space to move in but also close enough to save your account if any pairs decide to go against you in a crazy unexpected move.

Here is an example of a short trade that used 3 add on trades to save it and made 258 pips to the good.
Don't go by what the Red and Green Swing Dots are showing now as they repaint like crazy and can fool you when looking at past charts as to what really happened.
This may not be the safest way to trade.
You can see the original trade was a loser but the 3 adds turned it into a winner.
DD would have been roughly 185 pips before it started to come back.

Here are last weeks stats for the Swing with HAS confirmation on the H1 with no stop loss just opposite swing signal as exit and add to trade.
You could probably do better with better money management.
Just trading the EUR and the GBP the profit would have been $1048.04.
Would be nice to see others post their stats for the previous week for tests they are doing so we can eventually find the best TS settings.

I am not using any SL / TP settings in the TS which is based on version 6. Just letting it do what it needs to do and give it plenty of room to breathe.
I do however employ a disaster SL of 5 ADR's in the dashboard, and since the flashcrash of a couple of weeks ago have now also set a 5 ADR profit.
Statistics of last week's trades attached - only set this up last Friday (my time).
Am using a timer of London pen through to the last hour of US but keeping trades open.
Daily profit target of $50 using 0.01 lotsize with add ons set to true (5)

Finally getting back to some testing this week on S9, after some diversions last week, took a while to catch up to all the posts and add Basket Trader v6 to my charts.
In the meantime, I went back to the old HAS TS v1 on all pairs, with a positive result in today's Asian start
(Sorry no P/L chart)

I will now start testing with the updated Basket Trader. Finding the right Profit or Loss level to exit a trade/(basket of trades) is always going to be the secret to success.

My single pair HAS / Swing reached a profit of $28 and now sitting on a $27 DD. I may have set the bar a little too high.
Perhaps a better way to reach $50 is to increase the lot size but that may start getting out of hand when the trades go against us.

Basket closed at profit so that's 2 straight.
Not sure whether to leave it alone or change it to a $25 TP
In any event I will leave it off for now due to the Brexit vote. If it was a demo account I would leave it on but for once I think I will play it safe.....

My HAS TS v1 on All Pairs test on Asian open was successful again today (still using One n Done):
I like quick fire results.
PS: Actually achieved a second TP later in day, by accident (normally I use one n done)
