    Mr Cœuré reviewed the latest financial market developments. Since the Governing Council’s previous monetary policy meeting on 24-25 October 2018, there were growing signs that investors were becoming more concerned about the global growth outlook, reflecting both the weakness in recent economic data in many jurisdictions and continuing geopolitical tensions. These concerns had added to market volatility and likely contributed to a marked drop in global stock prices. So what? Debt burden can skyrocket the fck out forever!

The state is an abstract machine, so is the total debt.
Debt represents our greed for credit. Wah, wah, ...daddy, I want more candy!(is human nature)
Our greed, all of us, govs., banks, croocks, individuals ...is human nature!!

Sure, is always us, the working people, who will pay in the end. But that's the way it is.
That's not a reason to invent communism or bitcoin

No control (crypto heaven), or total control (communist economy)
will push us in more misery than we are already in to.

...so we better fkn get use to it as it is, and stop whining about crooked system!

What? Globalization is the the growing interdependence of the world's economies, cultures, and populations, brought about by trade goods and services, technology, and flows of investment, people, and information.
Plain and simple, a good stuff.
Economy has its own chemistry.
It's only the small dependent local business, low skilled workers, people with low adaptability, rebel students, radicals, anarchists, sick conspirationists, ignorants, low educated and trolls, haters... have serious problems to understand it.

there will be no rate hike as long as Draghi is president. The most corrupt at the ECB.

Fiscal stimulus is a lost cause as Governments already too deeply in Hock unless standards get relaxed. Low interest rates as tool, already done that. Corporate expansion of production through tax incentive or market demand needs the consumer. Consumer needs wages to finance debt or tread water.
Keynesian stimulus has run its course and all that is left is the wage earner.

Yes the monetary powers have to quell this unrest as it threatens the EU and looks as if policy shift will encourage wages. Problem is that means instead of buybacks corporations will have to put money into payrolls. Unwinding the government intertwined with corporate sector that is the norm will take some doing.
What the market does with this? Certainly this is the end of the line for what has been going on.
Another major stimulus out of Asia to generate consumption not going to happen unless it benefits the initiating party.

Europe mainland still based upon exports so a switch to a consumption based economy like UK model fairly drastic.

Price will move but not so much on monetary policy going forward. Geopolitical friction I think will source more volatility as the economic Pie is limited by consumer demand constraints

add: will be sticking with USD longs on safe haven until it just gets too painful to do so.
