the bond market is usually the smart guys. dont be surprised if that 700 Dow points evaporates. But if the bonds start dropping. that 700 should be higher.

since powell shut up, bonds have risen. they are moving opposite normal since

I am done trading, sideline for now... a good day 70+ pips.. not want to mess it up.. unless eu goes up to 1415 again... I have 2 pending shorts there for scalp.....

So from my last chart, price couldn't stay in the uptrend line so next week i will be looking to sell highs - not to keep long term as we're still in a range.

On other news... does this mean stocks could plunge and US dollar goes stronger?

I set this template for the USDJPY 1 1/2 to 2 years ago and had not looked at it for a long time...............

ES...from Thursday afternoon.....I had time to actually trade this some in the afternoon using the mofu method, and I didn't catch all of them, but scalped a net 26 handles (104 ticks) on a non trending rotational day (afternoon).........

Edit: Oh yeah....I had eight 6 tick losses, so it wasn't like I was doing an outstanding job of trading....lol

The ES will vaporize single digit stops if you're not correct immediately, especially with the heightened volatility of the last four months.

So I just took a look at the charts for next week. Both weekly and Daily closed bearish... My assumptions are to look for short opportunities.... the real task here is for the weekly candle to close the week below 1.13 as you can see its newly uptrend visual line... or above 1.15.

Even though market keeps pushing to go higher - it is struggling imo. either way, I wouldn't hold a trade for too long as we are still in the middle of a ranging market...

1.1440, 1.1470 are resistances... i am looking for another attack on 1.13

As usual, I think it will make its downside target, but it wouldn't be any big surprise to see it go back and test sequence levels at 1552 and 1611 either, given the choppy PA.

The last few days on the profile show both poor highs and poor lows and will likely repair both in the near term.

market makers have a lot of interest in supporting 1.13... like SNB had at 1.20 which they eventually let go of. I would agree that the big boys are gunning for a target higher up before we break lower - we will break lower, there are many stops to be had there - the question is when?

as usual i will be waiting for a weekly close below 1.13 to start planning short trade...

If you're using the stock indexes to time Forex trades intraday, then looking at the market internals will help.

The up volume is advancing steadily all day, the same thing with the Advancing vs Declining issues, and the Ticks were mostly above the zero line all day with several +1000 tick readings.

With these conditions, it is unlikely to see a serious reversal in the afternoon. (Of course, conditions can change tomorrow.)

You can find these over on TradingView.

Also, the Russell 2000 is a more representative sample of US stocks than either the S&P 500 index or the DJIA 30. It has pretty much led the way in identifying tops or bottoms.
