Maybe price will now range and wait for Powell's speech. If he sounds optimistic then more falls.

Those percentages can't be right. The actual change is almost the same, but the german rate is just a fraction of the US rate??

Got it! It's just a rounded number of the actual change. Not really a percantage of the current value.

That is a strong job report. That makes Macro Data in the US a mixed bag lately imo.

We have Macro still strong on employment front, while Manufacturing PMI is very disturbing and inflation barely reaching target among other soft numbers. That makes non-Manufacturing PMI next Monday and next CPI in a week more interesting than ever.

Markets are still expecting a clearer message from the FED. If upcoming data confirm this mixed bag, we might still chop in the waiting zone till next FOMC (unless Powell makes it clearer today, or the Minutes next week ?).

usd ticked higher. that may be enough of a tick to reach 133x now..
