i use nongap renko EA to create renko charts, but i got this error always with every renko EA. please help anyone.

I agree that the ATR is one of the best indicators. Two indicators that are also very good are the Infoboard (that indicator includes ATR) and the Absolute strength histogram.

Hi Mathtrader,

Would you possibly be able to assist me with a simple EA, i am testing a new renko indi out.

This should be simple for you.

1- If price is above 50 EMA and 10 EMA only buy
2- if ADX is curved upwards and crosses 78 level
3- If above conditions are met, on the open on the 3rd green brick open a buy
4- Place SL 10 pips below last low
5- Exit trade on close of first red brick

Vice versa for Sell.


I hope I make sense, and really hope you can help.

I have read all your posts and salute you for all you efforts in assisting us that are unable to do what you do.

why doesn't the robot open orders? already tested everything, offline chart, several days running, I've seen signs of entry in the chart but orders are not open

I'm trying to perfect a strategy on renko charts in detail:
I have 4 EA Manager, to automatically set SL and TP, and all 4 do not work on this chart, I searched on google and more, but I have not found an EA manager for this purpose that works on Renko Charts,
can anyone point me to something valid? if it also has the stealth function (to hide TP SL from the broker) even better!
I won't be home this weekend, I'll try to share the renko strategy with you, while I continue to test the strategy ...
I hope some of you have a working EA manager.

Your Renko chart is currently set up like this (see yellow mark)
For any EA to work, it must be set as the second image (see yellow mark)

Zamaniba never answered you but here is the answer. This is a geometric Renko chart shifted 10%. Attached is the original Zamaniba chart with my DAX Renko 100 pips ($10) also shifted 10%. I also attached the indicator to produce normal, median and geometric Renko charts. This indicator can also produce 2 Renko charts for the same pair. Enjoy

Hi Hutch,
I loaded that in my indicator folder & expert folder, but can't get it to produce an offline chart or attach to chart.

Any suggestions?

It is an indicator not and expert. There are two ways to get a new indicator to work properly:
1. In the navigator refresh the indicators; or
2. Close the MT4 and restart it.
