What's you view on changing Minimal Trailing Profit, MACD Dynamic, and Static Profit as lot size increase? - I have generally altered inline with lotsize, so it using lotsize 0.02, the prfits would be 2, 0.03 would be 3 etc?

Yes as the account grows and you increase the lot size, I think its a good idea to increase the Minimal Trailing Profit, MACD Dynamic, and Static Profit, that's what I am doing with Hybrid.

The standard Minimal Trailing Profit, and MACD Dynamic settings are based on the minimum lot size of 0.01, and as the account grows and you increase the lot size, its also good to increase the rest in line to maximize the profits on each order.

Guys please be aware that these notes/suggestions are based on my own personal experiences of using Hybrid during these last 8 months, and what works for me might not work for you.

The best advice is to experiment yourself and find what works best for you and your needs/risk tolerance.

Hybrid is a very versatile EA, and can be set to trade aggressively or low risk depending on your needs/risk tolerance, and finding the right balance or profit vs risk is why we back test and forward test busy tweaking the settings as we go.

I have found what works for me for trading live, and I am continuously testing to find better settings which have a higher profit vs risk - return ratio.

I am not doubting your/your friends approach, but 2 months live isn't enough for me to make any conclusions - so many accounts/settings can last 2 months churning out 100,200,300% - I had one. I trade hybrid live and in my view, over 50% a month return isn't sustainable -maybe I'm wrong and I would love to be proved wrong.

Once you are past 1000 trades on any strategy that is enough to analyze it on a per trade basis. After that it is about time - surviving months, and long periods of currency strength/weaknesses, ranging markets, long-ranging fundamentals etc. That's why I appreciate 6 months, even if it is a demo, more than 2.

There are many ways to skin a cat. I hope your strategy continues to be a success but lets all appreciate that there are many other successful strategies out there that we can look at, try to imitate, and then personalize to our own liking. It's all about learning, sharing, and crafting our own system.

Edit - 3000:1 leverage???? Be careful mate You can use IC Markets - Aussie regs, 500:1 leverage - still a high leverage but in my experience a good broker.

There is one ting i wonder that the sniper guy said abaut total trades taken i can see sometimes all your trades closed and a lot fewer trades in total on 5 pairs is what i also run on my demo mine is now 5 weeks and i have abaut the same amount of trades that you have on 6 months is there some difference on ea`s i cant see anyting in settings that can make it close all when in profit.Sorry just curius on the difference no need to answer if dont want to

I can't answer for MRDFX, but are you using the same settings as him? Specifically the delay and step order? His TE uses a 300 delay on a 5 min chart, not 1 min chart, with a 50 step order. If you had these settings I would be surprised if you had over 1000 trades in 5 weeks.

I have a TE running on 1 min with lower step order and delay and it isn't at 1000 yet and has been running 6 weeks.

My results so far. This is only 16 days of trades with a total of 36 trades.

Fixed start 0.01
Time delay: 300
Step Order: 75
Daily Range: 900
Max trades: 200
Trade start/end: 1300-2350
Hybrid Start and Magix Scalp True (the rest are false).
Minimal trailing profit: 2
Static profit 10

Drawdown I am happy with, I would certainly be happy with even 15%. This is a conservative strategy, ultimately aiming for around 10% per month consistently. I have a long way to go, before I can get some bearing of the long-term, however so far so good, and very happy with my settings. The trick will be what exactly I can tweak which might minimize loss.
