MIG statement (MT4 standard broker) as of 12 Oct 06. Starting equity $5000, current equity $4968. Forward testing pairs USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY, EURUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD with Pheonix_EA_v4_2_01. Appologies for not posting up statement of 11 Oct. Also please note I accedently closed down Metatrader today for a few hours.
One thing to note in the statement is that GBPJPY trade is still running even though the target of 221.56 was clearly hit at around 7am GMT. There must have been execution problems at the time. The USDJPY unfortunately did get stopped out but P4 put in another sell order soon afterwards that hit the target within 11 hours

I will now switch to Pheonix_EA_v4_2_03 and use additionally to the above EURJPY, GBPUSD, GBPCHF, AUDUSD, EURCHF, EURAUD (basically all the pairs P4 has predefined settings for and the MIG broker supports).

It don’t take currency correlation in account (if you don’t know what currency correlation means, just Google it). If one trade goes against you, all the other trades will do the same. So we have to find a way to keep this risk between acceptable borders. First is the performance until now of the GBPJPY and the USDJPY with <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Phoenix</st1lace></st1:City>. According to this performance you may expect more profitable trades than loosing trades form these pairs. Furthermore I will try to find new settings for a SL, TP ratio of 1:2 (it’s now 2:1). <o></o>

Problem is that you can’t backward test “correlation EA’s”, so I have to forward test it on a demo-account. I will post this special version in the weekend. So if you have some space to test another EA the please be my guest!!<o></o>
