14. USDCAD last week. Stopped out. Poor execution. Entry was 1 pip above the first power bar. Stop should therefore have been at the swing lows and I should still have been in this trade. {image}

Correct execution and stop placement and this would have been at 1.5R so far.
Trade 11 Update - now up 1 R
Exited 50% and left stop at original position.
I now have a risk free trade with potential for a greater upmove.
I have moved my TP to be higher than 2:1 but this is not shown on the chart.
Edit: Price has now gone 2R. Due to the scaling out, it has closed with 1.5R

5 full days later the trade has been up 1R.
Its Friday night and I have also entered the EURNZD short. I feel like this is a doubling up of the trade, so I have exited the slow moving euraud at 0.5R.
This exit is also supported by the stalling from yesterdays daily candle.
The EURNZD trade I took tonight has also gone 1:1.
Trade 15.
Exited half of the position at 1R. Stop is left where it was.
This will limit the profit to 1.5R if it continues to the tp (which was 2R).
But its friday night, I am up 4.5R for the week and if this goes to 1.5R I will be up 6 R for the week. If it stops me out, I will still be at 4.5R for the week.

4 hour was price running out of steam and rejection from a BRN 85.00.
Actually it was a 4 hour failure of the brn00.
Not taken due to being on holidays.

Context - downtrend on 1 hour + H&S on 4 hour
Setup - 1 hour oscillator extreme
Signal - 1 hour chart bounced up off the BRN00 and then collapsed below.
Entered in direction of trend
Stop is 60 pips away
Target is 2:1
EURUSD - Loss 1 R
Context - daily strength after price had broken north of a consolidation zone
Setup was a pull back to prior breakout point and price then going sideways creating a new consolidation zone.
Went to bed, with a stop order above the consolidation zone, so I could trade in direction of daily strength.
Was stopped into the trade in the asian session and immediately stopped out of the trade at the start of the euro session.
GBPCHF followup from yesterday's trade.
The move retraced to the 50% fib and gave an hourly outside up bar.
Moral of the story is that the initial setup showed the trend was moving up - be prepared to re-enter in direction of trend if the initial trade works out.
