back to bed.. i put one at rigid R 1395, 30 pip stop. another 1355

i thought 1355 or 1395.. 1352 was on the chart, but a norm at 1355 is hard to pass up. back to bed.

I left a short pending <1395>, i figure 30 pip stop is enough.. week wise >1405<area has some R 1398/1410

Hey guys, I've put this off for too long. Help me understand some of the things going on in this thread.
It seems to me you guys are printing levels and trading as they bounce off these levels.

@gator
1)Are you using fibonacci sequences? Coz it seems like fibonacci but the numbers seem off.

2)It seems to me that you just marked 50% price points.
a)From high to low(aka strong resistance to strong support) giving you MID POINT
b)From mid point to high/low giving you S2/R2
c)From mid point to S2 giving you S1/R1

3)What time frame do you draw the levels from? Daily chart?
4)What do you consider the start and end of the day? Do you draw from asia/london/ny open?
5)Are the levels redrawn every day?

6)Can you share the custom indicator that you're using to paint the levels?

I tried to ask the same question about a year ago, and because there's no real easy (quick) answer I did not get the response I was looking for. I totally understand why Gator/Boulder didn't have a quick answer for me -- they just told me to "keep reading."

So I did -- it will make sense to you if you just keep reading during the next few months. Slowly but surely it will make sense and you'll be able to fill in the gaps for yourself. Sorry if this isn't the answer you were looking for. Best I can do to help...

I've been reading gator's posts on and off since 2010. I more or less know what is going on. I am however asking for specifics to speed up the process.

no matter how you trade. look for a reason to short or long at the strong support or resistance. If you trading system agrees it may be worth a shot. Its some basic s/r.. I'm experimenting. so far my worse day was friday. It was to long 1295 area (pa went to 1268). It looks like a 30 pips stop is/was enough. other stops have been much closer. The pa usually will collapse toward the opposite S/r. Fridays would mature 139x area.. I plan to short eu there.. toward 12xx or whatever new pa shows. I will post a few other.. here is gbp

I look forward to your chart on EU.

As for your GBP, what you did was pick
1)1.2685 as a resistance +30 pips,
2)1.2477 as support -30 pips
to draw your STRONG SUPPORT AND STRONG RESISTANCE area.

Then the rest of the levels are based of 50%.

Did I get this right?

Just woke up and saw a few levels printed... my long 1336 was missed by spread....just shorted 1372 to see...
