Hi guys. I was wondering, in the past where there were no PC and no charts how did traders make money only using high low, open and close? Is there a intraday strategy you can show me? Thanks very much

Are you talking about last portion on 19 00 session? Or anything else?

you better educate yourself cause youll never make it trading. i dont know your age but it must be in the 20's since you dont know that newspapers used print stock prices daily LOL...the old timers drew their own charts exeryday using graph paper for the stocks they were interested in. can you imagine how many thousands of hours they spent drawing charts and looking through charts in their lifetimes. there were no stupid ass indicators like there is now on computers so they knew price action. thats why the failure rate is 95% now cause youngsters turn on their computer and look at indicators and smoke pot instead of paying attention to the most important thing which is price and sup/res

Agree with you; now maximum traders try to rely on technical tools instead of learning technical & fundamental analysis with the details.

Question is why are OHLC prices still used even today in : modern terminals such as bloomberg, stock exchange floor boards, financial news quotes ?

pivots use High, Low and Close
traders use Pivots

The open is good for a range
traders use the opening range

i like it when the price comes back to the Open price and that level acts as a Support or Resistance
