Disliked{quote} A few minutes later the owner walked out of the kitchen. He was carrying a coffee pot in one hand, and a record album in the other. “Anybody need a refill?” A gentleman with a window seat gave a quick hand signal, and the owner recognized him from previous visits. “Nice to see you again, JMN!” He refilled the coffee cup that the waitress had left. “I like your choice of music. It's from this Led Zeppelin 4 album.” He showed it to JMN, and noticed that he studied it carefully...Ignored
He took the record album back from JMN, and said, “You know J, while Led Zeppelin was playing in Portland back in '72, Pink Floyd began working on 'Dark Side of the Moon' at Abbey Road studios. Alan Parson was the recording engineer. The music involved all band members, but Roger Waters wrote all of the lyrics. The first song they recorded was 'Us and Them' and the second was 'Money'. The album was finally released in the spring of 1973.”

I was the first person I knew to buy Dark Side of the Moon. I wasn't familiar with Pink Floyd, but it was such a cool looking record album, and had such interesting song names, that I decided to take a chance. I can remember playing it for friends, one by one, and watching their expressions as they listened to the music and read the lyrics printed on the back. Definitely a great album!
