Hello AKT Sir,

I have a doubt in my mind. I am attaching a image here.
Which level to choose Upper level - which is authentic(original) but non fresh
OR Lower level - which is unauthentic ( reaction from supply above) but fresh.

Could you please throw some light on this concept.

Is the daily your curve TF or your entry TF?

There are multiple options for you to take. On curve TF we are only interested in fresh zones. So you are at a fresh zone on daily atm...personally I would wait for confirmation on 1h that sellers are taking control. If the fresh zone is removed, we need to see a deeper penetration into the non-fresh zone. Then you can either be agressive and wait for confirmation on the 1h. Or be conservative and wait for confirmation on the 4h. However, I am a bit sceptical on whether you upper zone (fresh one) is a level at all, if it is it is a very weak one from looking at it, and one I would rather err on the side of caution. That is my view of it.

I am still learning to access zones myself and how to trade fresh/non-fresh/original zones so if anybody else has any advice, please share.

May I ask, what if daily is my execution time frame? Pls ignore quality of zone at this point in time.

Then you would need to do a MN-W1-D1 analysis.

Having a quick scan I can see:

MN - Uptrend, making HHs, pushed up from DZ, longs are higher probability
W1- Trend up, momentum up
D1 - Either wait for HH or reach W1 DZ to look for long opportunities.

My 2 pence on it. Don't take me literally, I am still learning and that is what I see

Potential shorting opportunity on AUD/JPY in the next week or 2.

My analysis is W1-D1-4h

Weekly:

Mom TL broken creating DZ, low in curve:
Look for buying opportunities - higher probability

Daily:

Mom TL broke and demand zones removed showing strength of sellers, cannot look for long opportunities until we reach W1 DZ or until we remove D1 SZ.
Potential sell at SZ that broke DZ, wait for confirmation on 4h.

4h:

Even though price is coming up to a nice SZ, I do not like the PA bellow price atm. There is a lot of buying (yellow highlighted area) creating no PM whatsoever. Would rather wait for price to reach D1 SZ with a nice push so that a decent PM is created. As it will be an aggressive trade against W1 I would like to see the 4h mom TL broken and a 4h demand removed.

i noticed a couple of the roundtable guys took this short also
as for the arrival you asked its not the best arrival but its also not the worst meaning not many orders are left they are all tested zones.

Congrats on catching the drop som3k!

I was a bit skeptical about the approach and all that compression. I have seen Alfonso talk about compression like that on his thread and how it’s an easy gateway for price to remove it all in a flash as there are no fresh and/or original zones to halt price per se. For some reason I saw it as a lot of buying and lots of zones (albeit very weak non-fresh zones) that could halt price so I went down the more conservative approach and waiting for price to reach the D1 RBD SZ, rather than seeing it for what it was - compression and easily removable. This will come with learning and understanding it and lots of screen time.

With regards to the D1 CP SZ you drew, why did you class this a SZ? To me it shows no sign of being one, it’s more of an ERC than a basing candle in my eyes. Because of this, I would have still waited for price to reach D1 RBD SZ as this is my next SZ.

I confused myself about the compression of PA on the approach. A lot of concepts still to click in place as I analysis the charts. This will come with practice and lots of scree time.

I still wouldn’t have taken the trade as my D1 SZ is the RBD, and as price broke the downward mom TL on 4h, as per the rules, we cannot sell until we reach D1 SZ. As I have asked som3k in the post above...what did he see that stood out about the D1 candle he drew as a SZ at which validated that 4h zone that produced a very nice drop

You are right. It's not a classical base. But it's a subtle stall in the downward movement. It's better seen on the 4h.
