Let's assume that you can get the answer to one question regarding a technical or fundamentals or structure or whatever. You can get any data, any information ... besides a question about what MM will do.

What informations/data/question would you ask to prepare 100% certain entry into the Forex position?

First, I would realize that trading is about PROBABILITIES, not certainties. And as long as I was focusing on always being right, I was doomed to fail.

As to my question, it would be: "Where are the most traders stuck?" Or " What price level(s) represent the area(s) where buyers are most likely to defend or sellers are most likely to defend?

For me, it's all about seeing what you want to see; where you want to see it.

Agree with this: "what you want to see; where you want to see it."

But I suggest that "probability" has nothing at all to do with successful trading. I know. Heresy!!! I submit that anticipated price action based on another specifically observed repeated price action (pattern) will not repeat itself consistently one way or the other over the long term. In other words you may see a specific PA result in another PA with a tendency toward a higher percentage one way or the other over a period of time but eventually the tendency will reverse. So at any given specific time in a certain context it may suggest that price is going to go in a certain direction but it is never a sure thing. Therefore only one thing is sure. RISK:REWARD.

This is why traditional supply and demand trading eludes so many traders with it's over simplicity of trading zones of supply and zones of demand in a certain way, The fact is these so-called zones will likely succeed as often as they fail. Other factors that most fail to see intervene and prevail.

Success in trading is "what you want to see; where you want to see it." and has everything to do with RISK:REWARD.

If a specific occurrence of price action occurred with a certain absolute probability then one would necessarily be required to trade that occurrence 100% of the time in order to benefit from it. This is the dumbing down of wanna-be traders: Obsession with identification of patterns and setups in PA and indicators.

So what to do? Forget probability and follow and get in tune with price and participate with buyers and sellers when opportunity presents. Finally refuse to accept 1:1 R:R as this will result in losses over a not so very long term period.

Correct; there is no guarantee! Forex is all about probabilities; no one can make here 100% success ratio in a long time.

Red was a great trader and yet he vanished without a trace. His fleeting success had much to do with feel of the market rather than any specific setups. Most S/D traders singularly focus and become obsessed with so-called supply/demand zones and quickly find out that many such zones regularly fail. It will become obvious to any trader beginning with s/d that the zones by themselves are not the answer. Many s/d traders preach the mantra "pick good quality zones" but are incapable of quantifying/qualifying such zones. Red gives a clue in his first posts by saying he is more or less a swing trader but as his posts progress through the thread it is apparent that Red seems to lose touch with this initial revelation. C12 seems to have a grasp on zones and has a very specific strategy to deal with them in multi time frame fashion. I would say he has the best grasp of s/d to date and yet his success as far as can be seen is undocumented. His thread is worth a look.
