very interesting... i used to trade quasimodo pattern before... i do use it osometimes now but not as before, i found out some others wich suit better to my trading methodology, but if u know where to reconize the pattern and select the good ones its is a very profitable one...

its one of those price moves that it's good to note.. but to have it on it's own.. not enough. what's your experience of it?

i mean paracurve reccomends good context understanding and fundemantal money flow in the direction you want to trade,

Well that worked out OK!

EURUSD looks good for bullish continuation this afternoon as USD is weak - can't see any reason for it not retesting 1.1430 area

I still see more drops for eur.
Im not convinced of this new up trend, call me idiot but from my point of view they have been ranging for a while and a new high(usd) is more likely needed for the drop...
About gbp, there is a bear paradise, just have to be careful with levels and play one at a time and if price wanna make the home run with u... great but if not, at least pay ur self in the way down.

Yep! Sorry you were quite right - and of course I forgot the strong resistance level at 1.1400 which I myself mentioned some time ago and reinstated yesterday of course. That uptrend did look rather shaky!

EU and specially gu is around daily open so the rest was just the wick of the daily candle... if its gonna tank being in the body of the candle is the best choice... they are just warming up.

A retest of daily open could give a decent re-entry

Well we got the retracement and re-entry

But looking good for another 80 - 90 pips IMHO looking at the daily chart. Depends of course if the bears really jump in this afternoon big time and we clear this minor support around 1.7430

Hey, newcomer here . So I've read the .PDFs and many, many pages. This might sound silly, but I'm having trouble understanding the entries and identifying the pattern in some of the charts.

So, I'll try to recap what I think I've understood.

Defining S/R levels:
- When wicks "touch" a line within the grid, that means price is being rejected from that level (by buyers overcoming sellers or the other way around).
- The more "touches" it gets, the stronger the level.

Setup:
Long:
- 1st candle goes through a S level.
- 2nd candle closes above the open of the 1st candle.
Question: Does the 1st candle have to close below the level? Or not necessarily?

Short:
- 1st candle goes through a R level.
- 2nd candle closes below the open of the 1st candle.
Question: Does the 1st candle have to close above the level? Or not necessarily?

Now, with that said. I'm having trouble identifying the setups and patterns within the charts you guys are posting. I read in one of the .pdfs that sometimes the pattern could be 2/3 (or even sometimes 4) bars long, or like this:

So maybe that's why.

Does that entry fit the criteria of the pattern? I don't think I'm seeing it there .

Any explanations are appreciated.
