The EA takes the trade at box high or low. If my memory serves me well, scroll down and you will see something like box offset (pips) this is zero for standard and means the order will take the moment the price is above or under the box.
Please note that the standard settings for the Nevercold EA are not the same as the rules as described in the first post.

I this case the right thing is get closed candle out of the box to open order. EA need to update. But I'm suprised with order open without in limit of the box.
The blue line is order open and arrow current candle. In this case the spread influenced.

If can get the EA to open a trade at a close outside the box that's the best as it increasing the win rate I think. Or if it closes to far then opens on a retrace to the top of the box then opens the buy.
The breakoutBox2.2 EA could be set to open outside the box but no always if it went to far outside and so not so clear.
I agree the breakoutBox2.2 EA with its order open outside of box was better in my opinion.
Perhaps we can see a non expiring version posted, it would be great!
I also have this same problem, Nevercold EA not taking any trades. I gave up using it. It seems to work for some setups in Strategy Tester though. I have just been manually taking the trade.
