15mins left for FOMC announcement and IBFX Live connection goes down

OK connection is back alive. SPREAD 6pips on EURO which is normally 2pip :surprised

I hate to be such a naysayer but most pepole here do lose on news releases.

So this thread is because IBFX was down for 10 minutes. and is charging 4 pips higher during volatility. Is that correct? yawn

My trade was not with IBFX, but I just opened a small 5k account with them this week. I have some things I want to try and they are right in the same city I am, so it is convenient. I did not see this down time today for the 10 minutes that the 1st post did.

LOL, No I have never been much of a competitor against anyone, other than myself. I do tend to drive myself pretty hard though. I actually did not know there was a competition going on. Do tell more please.

I hear you. I also trade for a living and do not need the distraction. I have breathing room, though, because I also own another business I have had for 20 years... will go take a look, but I doubt I will enter.

a whole lot more. just think if some trader out there who had a good system and only 250.00 dollars to start and win the whole think i mean the whole thing all four weeks and the monthly prize he or she is looking at $40,000 big ones. this is how they get you. lol
