Alien's Extraterrestrial Visual Systems

Greetings to all! Also decided to join. And immediately a question arose on the Drake Delay Stochastic indicator. He publishes an annoying alert, but in the indicator code the alert is disabled. How to be? What is the problem ?

XAUUSD H4

Where red line is you have H4 BBS breaking and ADX compress/expand (higher ADX a bit slow off the mark)

There is a sequence of BBS breaks and ADX expand on every TF below down to M5, not to mention a H1 DS slingshot.

Where you have all these elements in place including MTF BBS breaks, I have not yet seen this set up fail.

For me, it is the classic Alien v1 setup, with plenty of time to see it coming…….

It isn't disabled in the code.

Hello alberti; Thank you for information. I was referred to Alien's system by a friend and he also advised to go though at least first 20 pages of this thread. I am am slowly absorbing this and hope I could get a better understanding soon. Thank you.

Including divs on H1 and hidden div on H4, which were additional clues of an upcoming reversal. D made Alien hook.

I have been thinking along the same lines. Also 80 and 20 cross. Will try to code something this evening after work and let you know how I go - FerruFX would probably be able to do this in 5 mins

@Zimbinga - Try this - tested briefly and it seemed to work - lots of functionality can be added - timeframe, additional crosses, sound, alertbox - just the 50 cross with push at the moment - awaiting feedback.

Many thanks, but can't seem to get it to work yet. Not sure if I'm missing something but it doesn't seem to be show an inputs tab when you launch it, to set up the parameters?

Apologies if I misled you - there are no parameters for this 1st attempt - just a straight push message when the RSIOMA crosses the 50 - I can add options as requested (or others can modify). All I have done at this stage is, on a new bar get the value of RSIOMA 1 and 2 bars ago - if there was a cross of the 50 between the two bars then send a notification.

I am hoping that there may be a way to get the value of the RSIOMA at the open and close of the previous bar but I'm not experienced enough a coder to know how to do that so if anyone on the thread wants to assist please do...

Ah ok - so if I add it to a chart it will send a push when the RSIOMA on that chart's TF crosses 50? That in itself is useful as one could set up different TF charts for it to monitor.

Edit: It may be enough to just put that on M5, because M5 RSIOMA crosses 50 anywhere between 1-5 times a day depending on whether market is ranging or trending. So that will give us hopefully good notifications of useful times to check the charts to see if there is a set up happening or not.

You got it - I will try to add some additional functionality by the end of the week - eg. lower/higher TF.

Does that mean that "Alien hook" is divergence on one timeframe lower? i.e. (can't see TF on chart) if TF of chart is H4 then this S8 div is S21 div on H1?

Guess, I understood it wrongly...I thought it is more of a slight div of S21 when S8 turns to S21, but instead of reaching it suddenly turns around and brings S21 and S100.
e.g. S100 and S21 are in 80 level with S21 making slight divergence, S8 is below 50 level---->S8 turns up to push price higher---->S8 doesn't reach S21 and S100, but suddenly turns back down bringing S21 down as well.

This version I have included a "slingshot" alert as follows:
If RSIOMA above 80 and DDStochastic below 50 but turning up then push message= "Bullish slingshot alert Symbol()"
If RSIOMA below 20 and DDStochastic above 50 but turning down then message="Bearish slingshot alert Symbol()"

Will add selected TF next version.
