Never mind the box, I just drew it to determine where the center was for the dashed line. From my experience, if the floating equity falls more than 50% of the closed, it's a grenade. I only say this because I see it's a live account with a substantial deposit. I would first try it on demo a bit longer.

Not necessarily because I do the same and I have no intentions of ever selling my EA. Why would I? I don't need to.

The reason anyone sells in this business is because they realize their product or information is fundamentally flawed. If their product wasn't ultimately a grenade, why would they sell it?

Some people are just proud of their achievements and want to share the performance of their grail for a variety of reasons other than what you're thinking. Reasons that wouldn't make sense to you because if they did, what you're thinking wouldn't be the only possibility.

If you take a look at the OP's profile you can clearly see he's in the forex marketing business and this thread is clickbait to his website where he is selling courses etc.

His whole profile is geared towards his website/business, and the FF C.O.D clearly states that members must be transparent and and disclose themselves to FF and be made commercial.

Now don't get me wrong we can always give the benefit of the doubt and that the OP doesn't know, but now he does.

I do apologize if I broke some rules, I should have checked that out first. I just connected my broker to FF today and thought i would share. I do sell my core strategy for anyone who wants a proper PDF file. However, I will be giving it away here for free so again, no hidden agenda, just wanting to share a really good long term wealth building strategy to see if anyone can catch on and make it work for them.

I have been trading my core strategy like this for over two years now, one live and one demo year. My drawdowns average 15% so I do understand this is a bit steep for most but it works okay for me.

Here is my simple strategy. Test in a demo

All I am doing is scaling in on increments of 100 pips for my core position...then I sell and buy pullbacks against my core position (hedge play)

So...

1) Core Long EUR/USD 0.10 units

Enter anywhere... when the market moves down against you 100 PIPS ($100) Buy another .10 units. Do this until the market rolls over enough for you to get a net $15. Simple

2) Hedge: Sell pullbacks against core Long position.



Reverse for core short

Could you provide a bit more detail. What determines your "core" position. Are you placing a buy sell (hedge) at the same time. What is your pullback distance for hedge compared to your averaging in after 100pips? What's your "target" amount based on?

core position is determined by drawdown so if the market is going lower, you are drawing down ($100) or better on your long position.

..once you hit negative ($100) you buy another and you are now core long...because you are long .2 units...

($200)= .3 units and so on

your core position will always have more than .1 units

yes i go long and short at the same time anywhere on the chart, it does not matter to me

Once I close a position that is NOT on the CORE side, if I see good price action, then I wait for a retracement to Supply Zone or Demand Zone but sometimes I get right back in. it just depends, not too important imho, just make sure you are closing winning trades and don't wait too long to get back in because the market can and will leave without you.

My targets are $15 per .1 unit size
