Today’s results. Was able to close in positive. Glad I switched bias on USD.. Some trades manually closed..

To answer the previous question.
I mentioned before that I also use this strategy not just for trend trading(buying above 30ema and selling below 30ema) But also for Counter trend trading(buying below 30ema and selling above 30ema)..
Also take note, that I don not just trade any engulfing candles I see blindly. There are also other factors I consider especially for counter trend trades which I also mentioned before. Maybe we can also ask Trinquette why he trades this strategy for counter trend? Coz my simple answer for this is Price Action and always check structure on the left especially for previous s/r also...

May we all succeed in this... Also just keep trading simple. Just trade first using the basic rules by our thread starter which is trend trading which really works..

After a few months or years and with enough screen time, I am sure you will master price action then you can do counter trend trades too... Coz that’s what what this thread is all about “simple 4h trading”

No i did not take a short on NU. That was a buy that I posted and already on TP.

Yes mate, I am considering the 30ema.

But I dont trade all engulfing candles That shows up, if I do a counter trend trade, I consider other factors as well and I mentioned that here already a few times..

This kind of explanation was needed, if not it may confuse any new guy who just read this thread because its not the same rules as the op stated on the first page..

If i may suggest, for the future if any post that is not the same with the basic rules then explanation is needed. Because not all of us is an expert of price action or any other trading metode.

According to the original rules no, but as we said before. It might be a good idea to wait for confirmation candle to break the low of your bearish engulfing candle to show that the momentum is indeed bearish.

Just a question, do I need to attach the template to all currency pairs i want or does the currency pair listing on the chart mean they is checking the conditions in the background for the listed pairs? I mean in your screenshot the pairs are marked with a color. This i function is not on my Broker (JFD) /Metatrader. All pairs are in the same color (also if the condition is true)

If I attach it to a currency pair the detection and also the notifications over push notification is working.

Another chart, just for teaching purpose, in the last LH if engulfing candle appears, lets go short. I got a sell stop waiting
