Your really digging into sierra functions lol I'll have a look at that later I like doing the math it keeps eyes and mind focused

hehe.... getting there.

I also noticed (not sure if this is specific to my platform settings)... when you do a right mouse click > Move to Breakeven feature in Sierra, if the trade goes into a quick loss, this feature should NOT close the trade with a loss. Instead it should reject the command. It gives the illusion that we close the trade at breakeven with no alert, warning or rejection. Thought of sharing this as one of your trades today was too close to +1 or 2 tick before you moved to BE. Does this happen to you or just me?

I have it automated to move to +2 When up 6 i also have the option to move it myself before +6 but I didn't today I also removed all alerts

right but does it close the trade in loss (when done manually) for you or is it just my setup? I could be a bug in Sierra but hard to imagine

If I click move stop to be+2 Before I am up more than 2 it rejects the command if in loss the only way to stop trade is to flatten

He places it 12 ticks from the top so that his SL is at the top of the wick. He explains this in his video.

I still think a visual indicator of 123 and 2B setups is needed as the microtrends are so tiny with 1,2 tick distance away to measure and determine whether the thrust is a valid setup or not. It is necessary for my aging eyes for sure specifically when we see "market is ranging" but you are seeing it as a trend. That's my biggest confusion. How/Why you enter/hesitate/run with profits etc is all pretty straightforward and can be developed with practice over time. I still cannot make the damn order imbalance indicator from nick to work on my platform... even a working example of alert formula is throwing a syntax error for no apparent reason :-(

I also have a hard time swallowing the placement of SL on tip of wick. That is just such a wrong thing to do as we should be takers of liquidity and not providers. Bottom Line: you are an artist who knows how to control your actions... a necessary "primal instinct" or ingredient every trader should have to last for so long as you have been trading this beast. Even freaking breakouts are unsuccessful at fierce volatile times with tight stops !!!

Than put your limit order at a place that will have your stop a couple ticks under/over the wick.

The only other solution is place entry in normal place and have large stops that's the only reason in this volatile market why I am coming down 12 ticks from top I refuse to risk any more than 12 ticks.

Isn't time spent trading this (rather than analysing it up the wazoo) the most productive use of a traders time?

If Divergence can do it as is, then it can be done.

I looked at your video Divergence aand as i could see from the trades there you just took 1 ore 2 tcks ore mayby 5-10 i dont know how many but quick in and out is that the way you usually trade taking very small wins and more of them ore was it that you where not happy abaut the trade progress????Because my strategie with forex is 1-3 pips and out with a stop at 2.3 pips in and out and just wondered if that strategie could be used in futures and if you trade simular too me...Ore i simular too you is the right way too say it...LOL

I agree, it is a simple no nonsense way and the reason it is working for Mr D is that he has worked through all the mental issues so that he can just focus on seeing the setups, taking and managing them. The rest of us is busy working through and handling all sorts of issues that interfere with this and it WILL get better as we practice. Just my opinion anyway.

One has to pave their own path. D has laid out the footprint of what is feasible and possible. There is tremendous potential of both growth and income if you met your daily goals and then let it run just a little longer to see what could happen.

General tone seems to be that only H can make it with his strat.

Not the case.

Try this. Everyday for maybe a month, try trading the strat. Post the days results and be open to critique. Learn every lesson. It just require lots of chart time. I don't know what strat is out there that doesn't require lots of chart time that hasn't been Algo/AI'd away and is being shared for free.

I think the misunderstanding of what I mean by market structure on the timeframe you or I am looking at. When I say price made a higher high and then a higher low and then not a higher high that is a 123 setup when the higher low is taken out trend has changed and i take pullback to point 3 high can't explain it any better than that already showed and explained the 2b yesterday
