wouldn´t be better to have all the parameters (SL,TP etc) on the EA in order to optimize it better? I run it live with 0,01 just to see the bahaviour in reality.

I'm not sure about hard-coded parameters (tp, sl, m3m4, etc.). Playing with, very sensitives.
Looks like overfitted strategy.

it could be worth a try. It could work also with other pairs (like GBPCHF)... I changed already the TP and SL (my SL is slightly larger than the TP for example) in MQ, but I am not a coder and it takes to much time to test the best settings like this. Just my 2 cents.

Hello,

i wanted to know if this system can really work.
on MT4 it looks really good, even on MT5 it looks not bad.

but i dont understand your code right.

what you want to tell us here, this only works in backtest. If you close your MT4 the previous lots are gone. Also my broker do not accept this lot number, i have to cut it to 2 digits

maybe i'm wrong here, its long time ago that i coded mql4
does the trade only will taken, if the actual volume is below 25 ticks?


i run it on GU 1h chart.
this year on MT4 it has 70 trades, on MT5 it has 215, im sure i did the code translation right

the only difference in the screenshot from MT5, i used fix Lots and a trailing stop, without trailing stop the result is less

I had a trade yda, a winner EUR/USD - went long and closed out with $4.89 profit on .01 lot. Real money.

Of course, I'm running this live on a micro lot account. So far 4 trades, 3 profitable. But do not consider this as a "valid" test so far, because it's a long-term strategy. If it has something like 55% win ratio over last 7 years and slightly higher tp than sl, it means that it needs at least a few months of testing to say anything about how it behaves on the real market.

I do not touch anything, it's just working without my supervision. That one UJ pending order was placed by mistake when I was doing something else.

I am using it as I got it, no changes. I am using version 3.3 Exponential, is that the best iteration to use? I have the charts set on H1. Running it on all 28 Major Pairs, plus XAU/USD and XAG/USD.

Pretty good result with v3.3 Exponential.

Test period 1 yr, $1000 start, 0.1 lot, the rest is default.

+200% profit in 1 year is very good considering its only 1 pair, and the DD was not unreasonable.

This EA has potential.
