What's going on?

I'm infatuated with 1m view, I don't have nothing to show for yet let's just say I'm not losing left and right anymore because I'm no longer gambling I have a plan, rule not complete but a specific rule that lets me see if its a buy or a sell and when I should look for an entry so in a way I have a filter mechanism. In other words I'm only now beginning to act on facts ! not opinion

I'm still trying to figure out my exit plan. Plan is not complete yet.

I have been getting into trades in the right direction where I have no idea when to exit - yesterday I entered long right above 268 as price broke out and found support but I exited at 5pips LOL - clearly shows my inadequacy on reading certain price movements. And plus lack of confidence.

Now I need to work some minor details.

Back to work filling in my lacks.

I realize that I don't have to wait for that perfect entry as long as the direction is right and you have your level of resistance or support.
sometimes you just gotta have to go with the flow.

I missed on a good PB at 372, 359

But I was a little too rigid and missed on a good entry at the break of 359! something to keep in mind

Right now it's too low to be selling and yet again bears have been very strong

Today I'm encountering a sell scenario that I haven't encountered or trained for before, I didn't have my perfect entry setup. One more thing to master.

I think now I shouldn't be too worried about deciding whether or not I should buy or sell, I have a solid rule that I'm slowly beginning to trust.

It's entry and exit that I'll have to work out in detail , support and resistance plays a huge role not necessarily a certain pattern yes that's it ! the reason why it had created a certain pattern below or above a prominent level as a trigger signal was the role of support and resistance once it breaks the trade is ready to be taken !!! I should be looking out for a reaction at that levels not necessarily the pattern itself !

As for today I should have entered short without any hesitation at 359, 335, 317, 300.

DAX is going wild

It took me a long while come up with a solid rule that I trust and can use as a guide. Its not complete just yet but the main framework is there and I'm almost 90% convinced this time around that it shouldn't need drastic change that I shouldn't go around looking for the next perfect combination of indicators. It still needs some polishing, and I try everyday to integrate new findings and observations into that foundation.

So done with the rule part I was excited to practice what I have observed over and over again we all know that sucked ! theory and practice.

Initially I was finding it extremely challenging to navigate through ever changing price movement with my static visuals (rules) but slowly but surely I'm making a progress and I'm learning to adapt to whatever new info that's coming and integrating that information into my static rule so in that way I'm not gambling anymore I'm trying to dance with the technique along with the rhythm. That in itself is a huge milestone.

However, I still have two more hoops to jump through and that is entry and exit !!! I've been losing lately mostly because of my entry and exits and not because I was going against the tide. Today was a good example that just because you have a solid rule and adaptability to navigate through price movement and decide whether or not you should buy or sell if you can't decide when to enter and where to exit you'll still end up a loser.

re today's PA I knew that we were headed down from when 507 broke I did see 524 and 519 but 507 did confirm bearish moves at last since I only operate on 1m it did look bullish until London open. So I had to quickly change my bias based on this new information and it was done according to my rule, I didn't disregard anything in my rule book. I knew I had to sell just look at those sell entries LOL you'd think that I did end the day in the + how far that is from the truth I did end up a loser again.

So the problem as I'm unravelling as I'm typing now or the challenge I think do better describe the scenario that I'm in is to perfect my entry and exit. As I've said I've been noticing that I'm flowing better with the flow lately that I haven't been buying when its going down or selling when its going up but I still kept losing to some degree so I knew the problem and had been again working on the solution - draft a rule that clearly defines where I should buy or sell. Now for buy setups the rule is fairly simple but I still am not getting it right !!! For sell setups it's complicated. I do have a rule in short. But I've been struggling to put that into practice. In theory I've seen over and over again where I should sell (resistance) and when I should sell.

Entry and exit.

For people who says it doesn't matter. BIG FAT LIE.
I know support and resistance dynamic plays a HUGE role on entry and exit.
Although I do know to some degree where I should be buying or selling and when I should buy or sell in theory along with visuals trying to do it in real life is quite another thing I do get confused A LOT.

So now the only thing I can do from my part apart from polishing my rule along with entry and exit on paper is to keep on trying.... and I need time.

over 100pips in just over 30mins
this is why I love DAX.

I know 13pips is not much and I really should be trading instead of typing. But can I really read price movement ?!

I'm still a little apprehensive about it all as I was on Friday same thing happened overall a positive day and except for some minor hiccups and messing up on entry overall I did go along with the flow because I could "actually read the flow"!!.

As for today I could read that rise up during later Frankfurt wasn't actual bulls move up I recognized that falling peak and trough as 581 broke without any hesitation I went short.

I've been down the rabbit hole for far too long to believe what's actually happening and I certainly need Nov to prove myself that I'm not deluding myself that's it actually happening and I suppose afterwards when you know you know numbers don't lie

You, dear courageous friend, are simply facing another chapter in the Trading History not-written book! LOL
