I think for MT4, TheBestMAs is the most current or mine for MT5.

A nice TP trade to start the week off, with 37 pips waiting for me when I got out of bed!

Hello, i have a new EA version (v1.0) with some changes:
- crucial bug fixed, that prevented EA to send orders in open market.
- some code clean.

Finally I had some time to review the code and fixed a crucial bug, sorry for any inconvenience caused by the non-working versions.
For everyone who downloaded previous versions, please update with this new one.

What if you put some type of martingale (I'm not a fan of) that but i think will do better since some position hit sl, but next day is a winner, maybe a level 3 martingale can help a lot.

I seem to be getting a heikin ashi error. Do you use a non default heikin ashi indicator or have it in a non standard directory?

Thanks for the EA. Been trying your original version on demo with a couple of variations to the settings which has been good in general. Does the previous version and/or this version run on live or only demo?

Also, if you want some comments; currently, the EA opens the position upon breaching the box, but not a successful closing of candle above/below the box. Am just wondering, if the EA can be modified to enter half position (50%) after the current candle closing above/below the box and another half position (50%) as a buy limit/sell limit at the border of the box.

Just my 2 cents..thanks..

if can put a martingale option just when the position hit sl so next trade double etc up to 3 levels. let's see.

Hi Erebus, this is a powerful method, not just for this particular system, but trading in general as well.

However, would you mind to elaborate more, please? I still trying to figure out how to read 6 strength level meters in conjunction with the currency momentum gain/loss. Thanks before.

Question for those who have been on this thread a while - do you leave both pending orders open or do you close one as soon as one has been triggered? Reason I ask is because if I left the pending sell order open then it would've triggered and TP, leading to a break-even day.

The rule is to close it.

I am busy backtesting results IF it is left in place.

i think it is better to trade 2 directions in this strategy. As you can see one is bad, but second is good.

I tried the new update on demo tonight. Trade executed propperly.
SL hit but that is not the fault of the EA.
I used it with the default settings.

I've been backtesting the system today and it's quite robust. Good results using a wide range of different settings back to 2007. Before 2007 I can't seem to get consistent results from it without over optimising to fit the data.

EA is sizing positions incorrectly + not taking trades for unknown reason(it should as box size was between min and max)
