I'm not in a gold trade bro. But if this signal hits TP3 that account is blown. This time breakout to the upside seems real (see 3rd candle stick after the first breakout). That's a follow through to the upside. But who knows...

Bad habits not going away.
Plus looks like my trade manager went rogue.
Basically locked me out of the account WHILE I was trading retail sales.
Apparently it sent more than 2000 SL/TP modify commands in a day.

Thanks for icmarket's quick support. Was able to quickly re-enable the account.

Enough for today.
This competition is costing me lots of real money.
Lost the rhythm and still not trading real account.
Would be stupid to trade large account now until I find discipline and rhythm back.

Thanks for IC Markets quick support?
They started the account freezing for too many requests around end of May or so. Their tiny servers can't handle it. A bunch of BS. If they hadn't terminated cdn clients, that would have been ripe reason for me to dump them.
They can send a friendly warning like some brokers do or pay a few K and upgrade their equipment but freezing accounts with lots of customer funds riding in them??? F that.

My account generated 2000 SL/TP modifications (I had 2 charts of same instrument opened with trade manager EA with different SL/TP settings so they keep alternating). So I guess ICMarket acted appropriately. But yes, there should be advance warning system at hitting 50% daily limit or something.

2000 requests, each approximately the size of a ping packet. Added up maybe 2 seconds worth of processing.

Now think of your internet provider giving you the kind of bandwidth that you can download a movie in a couple of minutes.

Now compare IC Market's mini little servers they probably bought from a garage sale a decade ago with up to date capabilities on internet service providers. (or they use 3rd party servers in big centers and pay the economy rate).

Lastly. compare how much you pay for your internet monthly vs. how much you pay IC in commissions or spreads.


It might not work exactly this way but you know, they are being stingy. There are Virgin Island regulated brokers that literally don't care how many requests your EA sends. It comes down to competition too. IC market's can't compete in this case with it's counterparts.

Buy if you want to put up with this crap and get your account frozen, then I guess that's why they can do what they do.

Although over trading still remains. But over all execution is getting back in to the flow. Much better trading day. Another issue is that I am unable to retain good trades longer. Perhaps it would become easier once I go above 0% equity growth ... appears to be a mental road block.
AU Long stops triggered by 0.2 pip. Failed to re-enter as was away from the desk. But GU short ideas worked well.

Execution is bad, but overall fluency is coming back.
8% intra day draw down to just generate 1.1%. Don't like this equation.
What this shows that I am generating right idea, but picking bad price locations and entering trades a bit early.
Waiting and placing better entries will reduce draw down and increase the return.

Getting better. Getting back in sync with the market. Execution still needs massive improvement. But overall, fluency is coming back.

Im not surprised at all. Trading is hard but if you make it in public, it can easily become a nightmare. Actually you are doing good in my eyes.

Some good trades, but I did become stubborn on an idea which I knew wasn't playing out as I expected.
From next week, I am aiming to focus on more volatile instruments/time/events, as that is what I trade well, and will try to avoid grinds.
