No problem - you could also see from H4 RSIOMA it was flat and near the 50 level, which shows ranging condition.

I have just scrolled back through GBP/CHF H4 for the last 12mths. If you look at where ADX contracts and fans out neatly & organised most of those gave a tradeable move. There were a few fakes, but these could be screened because the stos were bottoming or topping.

Have a look yourself and see if you agree....

Its been said before but Alien's set ups work best when there is ADX just beginning to expand from after a contraction.

If you don't have good ADX then price moves are likely to be weaker.

Personally I think it is essential part of the system to make it work.

Indeed, it was flat. I just thought, since Daily RSIOMA is over 80, H4's RSIOMA will follow HTF.

Can't agree more. It's crucial for ADX to fan out for a good move, but most of the times it is mixed and I just can't hold myself from entering when RSIOMA and Stochs showing a good setup, despite of a mixed ADX.

Just went through the charts as you suggested and below are couple of cases when everything is so organized and gives mental satisfaction; all participants of the market cooperate as a single mind to move price in one direction.

In this example price has already been ranging in BBs, it was just a matter of patience to not enter too early and too late. At the red vertical line, Stoch 21 has bounced from level 50 and went towards Stoch 100 for a Slingshot move. Here as you said, ADX fans out perfectly. The blue vertical line would be perfect point to close the trade or at least to scale out, since Stoch 21 started to show divergence...Price kept pushing down, while stoch 21 was climbing.

And here goes another case of a perfect ADX Expansion. Stochs are showing clues as well...Stoch 21 is making Slingshot, while Stoch 8 is making half-X-Cross...DS started to make Slingshot earlier, but for safe trade I would wait for aforementioned factors...I would've gone out at the blue line, since Stoch 21 started to make divergence already, but as Alien told before, "before reversing or retracing price likes to top out twice", so market gave bulls the second chance to get out of the market.

But again, those beautiful setups are rare to happen and I sometimes I just can't hold myself from entering market.

Yes the higher the TF the less frequent you get the beautiful set up (but usually the larger move).

At least make sure H1 ADX is nice before you pull the trigger, that is not rare.

Bottom line is you need the discipline to wait in trading until set up is high probability.

This is true, it would need something like the DDS to filter tops and bottoms.

This part especially: The best trades are obvious, they almost “talk” to you and tell you to trade them, once you know what you’re looking for this will become apparent to you.

Correct, NO ADX fan = no power = no movement in PA = why trade a dead horse.
