I got hit SL too. GBP pairs tend to have bigger spread. So consider adding the spread in for GBP pairs

well yes and no.
Yes the spreads are high but no, the spread at the time was nowhere near the price i got stopped out on....
I have sent the broker an email with the screen shots of everything that had unfolded....

The Star is the limit.
Nice was also looking at this setup, i have placed my buy stop above the candle wick .
i am also looking at entering a smaller position lot size on the 50%retracement but with similar stop loss and TP projections as per Hzs10's rules.
thats the only rule ive adjusted on my end in a bid to make thee RR ratio a little more favourable.


What indicator is that on your chart that allows you to toggle the different currency pairs?

I'm in sell position on NzdJpy, and probably they will stop at SL.

for me its still open gbpaud at 1.8412 st at 1.8489

I was wondering, what would you do if you entry (next bar market) is really close to your sl? Like when the signal is to go long but the candle closes on it lowest low, right where you stoploss is...

Trade on the GBDUSD is on my watchlist but the candle isn’t finished so no entry yet for me :-)

Was this at daily close? If so I know my broker increase spread a lot after the daily close for gbp-pairs. Especially for gbpaud and gbpnzd. I know for example that gbpnzd increase spread about 40 pips around this time. When I trade gbpaud/gbpnzd and the price is less than 40 pips from my SL before (maybe 10 minutes) daily close I increase my SL until the spread gets normal (set SL back after 1 hour).

great advise much appreciated.

I thought as much. my issue was there were no wicks or anything to suggest a sudden spike up.

Spoke to broker this morning and they attributed it to the move being too quick upwards blah blah blah.
