There is a recipe to successful trading!
You add a good level of KNOWLEDGE of PRICE BEHAVIOUR(s) to some TIMING concepts...
and then mix them with a lot of DISCIPLINE and CONTROL of your "EGO/SELF".
It is neither simple nor easy.

Or maybe one prefers Aristotle...

Impulse and correction wave.

For me (you've been emphasizing these since the beginning) are two main components of price behaviour/price movement or what you have referred as basics.

If you can see these components play out on any TF you can dance along with the tempo - that's the technique "the right technique".

It was a disaster session for me but I have discovered something today that could fundamentally change my trading so in that sense I do feel like I have accomplished something -> I think I have finally discovered the interplay of peak and trough, impulse and correction wave I've seen it play out so many times and I have got it wrong just as many but I just couldn't tell the difference sometimes I got lucky I guess.

Maybe its all coming together finally , the puzzle pieces ?
It's hard.
And I'm tired.

*still struggling with timing although I know in theory when and where I should enter. internalization in the process, lots of losers and it's painful. A little patience/discipline now can go a long way until it becomes a habit.
