Don't use 0.

Use 1, 2, and 3

I have several requests for EAs of the past that were used with Casino to be converted over to work with the new DB.

HnG and Swing Basket trader

I did a preliminary test last night with the swing on the Core 5 basket and the results were not bad, see below.

These TSs will be out towards the end of next week, so stay tuned.

Looks like you had 2 trades that hit a SL that would have subtracted from your total profit.

Do you have an exit enabled in the TS? opposite HAS signal exit maybe

Yes of course that would explain it thanks Gene. Just for general interest here's another broker session executed in parallel with the same parameters and stop losses hit but achieving $8.78 in P/L. Not sure if its worth further analysis as I'm seeing different results in like for like trades with different brokers. Guess that's just part of Forex trading. Thanks again for all your support

This week I will be doing some basket trading using offline basket charts, I pick the best pairs going in the same direction and build my offline chart from them. Probably by next week I will be coming out with the latest DB and and some new basket trading TSs. One offline basket test I am doing uses the RSI to pick the pairs for the basket, will see how that goes. I am also thinking about bring back the new week GAP trader as an offline chart and use the swing trader idea to enter the trade. I have a bunch of new ideas and some brought back from the past, so stay tuned and remember you can always download the latest software under the software tab at seller9.net.

Comment on HM:
One thing I found useful with using Currency Strength in manual trading, is to trade the cross of the currencies as long as the stronger one was above zero and the weaker one remained below zero. Another thing I used was to use CHF or JPY as a guide level: for example if I use CHF as a guide level, then if I have AUD going stronger and cross USD, then I can also expect AUD to also be above CHF and USD below CHF for a strong signal. I hope this makes sense?

Thanks for the input for the HM.

I am trying different things to make it better when used as a stand alone trader. Using it as a filter with other TSs as direction will stay almost the same but i am working on the cross idea like you suggest when used as a stand alone trader.

Sometimes you get the cross and both can be above or below zero so I will need to try it both ways with zero line and the cross on it and without the zero line and see what happens. Using zero line does make it more selective.

Were you using CCFp indy and if so what version? I see there are differences in the way the strengths are calculated in the different versions, just wondering if one version seemed to be more accurate than another.

I have looked at a lot of different Heat Maps and they all seem to come up with different answers. LOL

When I was using Currency strength, I actually used one I created myself on the TradingView Platform, I not sure it will help but you can find it here

You are correct about the different results, depending on which Currency Meter you are using.

My CORE 5 Basket trade went crazy last night with some add on trades pushing it to its high.

I was letting it run to see how high it would go.

Wow, that is a big result, that is what can happen with Add-ons. Is the add-on part of an update to one of the TS's, I don't see the add-on option in either of the basket TS's that I downloaded (HAS and Demark)?

My 1week experience with the HM: Day1 was good. I held the green pips to see how far it will go but it went to red the next day and never recovered with the TP and SL settings i used.

I tried HM on 60 and 240. I thought @240, the signals will get better results but i got similar red pips.
I feel like an additional filter is needed on the HM to get better results.

But anyway, welcome back UncleL.

It is part of the swing

Here is an RSI basket where it said buy but looking at the PA pattern I took a sell on the 4 pair basket, will see what happens, just playing around with baskets.

I have also done some things to the HM to see if it will improve it.

Sorry guys I posted the wrong stuff, here is what I wanted to post. This is a H1 RSI basket.

I am using just the GREEN RSI picks.

If these pairs move together it could be a nice winner. Will turn on Add to Trades also.

I'm looking forward to testing and trialing the Basket trading TS's, I believe the results may be more reliable than straight DB+TS with 28 pairs. The old Swing PIN with the ATM DB worked very well before and I was getting pretty good results, so I'm looking forward to the new versions.
