It has already been said. You must learn price action. In this case you don't want to buy into strong resistance.

USDCAD setting up nicely, but I love it more because the current 4Hr bar might end as a bearish pin bar which reinforces the bearish bias. Anybody watching it?

TBM - sorry if i missed the post, but what percentage or # are your trades triggered at?
Meaning how much to you let it retrace before your enter? (about half the candle of the engulfing bar?)

why not just trail it with a tighter SL? maybe close half position and place tight sl?

Learn the basic strategy in order to:

  1. identify the bars and the overall setup
  2. choose and use proper money management that facilitates losses-they will come
  3. Trade your way into knowing this thing for yourself, she clearly states that she is perfecting this method that is not entirely hers but she tried and tweaked for about a month and decided to share it here.
  4. I am personally greatful as i learnt an easier systematic way to approach this same setup that can make a difference between being a loser or a winner with an edge.
  5. Obviously our involvement will help to make it better hopefully if we stick to the basic rules.
  6. Adding more to it will complicate things, which usually happen more often than not and then the system don't work according to original intentions.

I have a trading partner who turned $69 into over $600 in a short time using this same concept only a different ema on h4, daily & weekly (longterm). His way was very complicated, nevertheless If it worked for him and this is working for her to move 3k to probably over 5k now, why shouldn't the basic idea work for everyone else?
