First the ATR filter.
This means that you do not have a fixed step per trade but that is the adaptive part.
It simply starts with the ATR * start multiplier for the first trade to be added and after that you need a distance of
(ATR * start multiplier) + (#trades * (ATR * trade multiplier))
This will hold entering multiple counter trades on a large move, it will only start entering if the price stabilizes.
A bit the same for the ADR hold and multiplier.
If fi you are in a buy mode and the difference between the first entered trade open price and the current price is more that ADR / 0.5 (so 2 * ADR) trading is holded until the price returns within a tradeble range again.
Other hold tradings are the DD % params.
If fi you are already in 50% DD it is not wise to open new trade sequences on other pairs.
Bulls/bears are also a hold filter.
In buy mode it has no use to enter counters if the bears keep gaining power, this will only create more DD.
It is better to wait until the bears lose power or even the bulls taking over.

Now about that non grid tradable gbpjpy pair.
Result from the "Old" Hybrid grid all in EA of course the aggressive Magic_scalp + Xuicide and Summ lot.
Nope, did not make it.
Results from the new EA also Summ lot but with the filters on.
I now that the entry and add triggers are the same as above the Hybrid all in.
Did one did.
And also with the not-to-be-used-ever Martingale grid *3.
I did tweak the distance settings a bit but the profit increased and the DD went down.
Not what you expect uh.
If anyone can come up with a pair/period where you think this EA would not survive (or has not for you) and (also not the chf eur peg drop (did already test that many times)) let me know. I am more than happy to run a test on that.

It is essentially basket trading pairs based on the individual currencies' strength levels relative to each other - in basic terms.
I know it's not the same as we are doing here but the guys on there have done tremendous work in developing a currency strength indicator (Grandaevus) and an EA (xmess7) that sets up a weekly or daily basket based on the indicator's signals. They have a lot of cool features in the EA such as a virtual basket etc.
Not sure if any of it is translatable to Hybrid stuff, but it might be some inspiration for you...along with all the beer!

first and foremost congrats to magix on your second grand daughter to be!
done for the week. decided to be cheeky this week and look to start closing from tuesday night instead of monday. so overall got out the market wednesday midday.
had to use a lot of uncoventional pairs monday and most tuesday, due to red news monday and tuesday potentially affecting majors.
Anyways, original stochs, summ lot, 0.01 start lot.

Well the EA is surfing the USD/CAD wave without any problems so far, the maximum DD that I have seen was $900~$700, but I think that it is doing a good job managing the trend.
Also, I'm using 26 pairs, and the account haven't exploded so far (The initial deposit was 1K)
There has been NO interaction from my part; I've just let the EA do his thing

Yes I'm still using those low risk settings on AC,NC & AN and have similar results to yours, DD also staying low. Maybe we have to increase the pairs to afford a few more beers as the system seems to have proved a nice slow & steady return! I have also tried to replicate similar settings with the new hybrid sessions 1c to stay with the latest EA and this also works in a similar manner, slow, steady and profitable....
FYI I have also kept the same settings and changed to the M1 chart which seems to give a few more trades and a bit more profit...
