I have attached a screenshot of my setup. I dont use any EA and being in the UK I dont get in front of my terminal until 6am GMT. My chart shows London Open which is in fact 6am when I start looking to trade from. I have found this approach suits me as I still catch most trades at the break as they seem to occur later on. Pure chance or coincidence any trades that have happened before this time have failed, and where I have missed entry I just get in at the next best entry by using HA candles.
Not the original system I know but this is down to my start time only. I am currently falt as the entry today happened pre 6am GMT and I will get in if it breaks again either way.

Hi dimash,

Yes London Open is 8am it was its just I have an indicator that you can use to identify open close times of the market and I have changed the time to 6am myself as this is the time I look to trade from. So it says London Open but its there just to let me know when to look for entries.

I just found this set up and indicator. Looks great! I am using the Market Maker Method and this could work well with it. I do need know what time zone the indicator is set up as by default. EASTERN time US? I am in Atlantic Time on hour ahead of EASTERN and not sure the Start Time 0600 End Time 914 and Session End Time 430 should be all set to one hour ahead for me? 0700 1014 and 530 I suspect this is to be used for US Session only?

Welcome to FF, we are all friendly here, and remember, there are no stupid questions.........

But honestly, if telling time is difficult, do you think you should be trading?

Do yourself a favor, go to TIME and DATE dot COM

Make a personal clock, be sure to include Reykjavik as it is the important GMT all year long

And include any other time zones that you may have even the slightest interest in

That way, instead of asking random strangers on a random forum what time is it in xxxx country.....?????

You will go to that tab, keep it open by the way, and it will be plain to see, good luck

PS: the procedure is, watch the indicator in real time to when the zone is drawn, refer to the Personal Clock, ask yourself, is it opening at the right time for me?

If not, make adjustment 1 hour ahead or back, check again, continue this until satisfied, congratulations, pat yourself on the back!!!
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Good evening,

I admit I haven't scoured all 61 pages, however hoping for assistance. I understand we box the 4 hours finishing at 0200GMT, but after what point does a trade become void? I mean, if that box isn't BO by 0800GMT for example, do we class that day as untradeable?
Will code in MT5 for free.. EAs only, can't be f*cked with Indicators

Forget about your local time,your box is wrong it should be from 02-06 on the chart you've shown and then you will see there is no trade.
