I am still waiting for the charity i have gotten mail from them only waiting for the link,But i have a question how much equity do you need too trade this live???

Hybrid Session just came out, we are all stress testing it atm. But there are so many possibilities of settings with this EA that for the moment talking about equity is out of question.

Subjet is more :
- Stochs15 alone ?
- Stochs15 + Stochs5 ?
- Stochs15 + Stochs5 + hybrid ?
- Hybrid alone ?
- Tapout off coz bugging ?
- how much step order ?
- M1, M5, M15 ?
- Fixed or step lot ?
etc .....

So many stuff we have to test, trying to find the perfect setting with acceptable DD.

Hi Magix

Not sure if I don`t understand the tap out correctly or its not working on Hybrid sessions 1C. I left it on default settings only changing the Hybrid start to True and comparing my trades to your trade explorer Hybrid session it looks like your taped out. My GBP/USD trades went down as much as £60 and not tap out, luckily recovered and I manually closed for a £4 loss.

Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

TapOut is not a StopLoss.

TapOut will wait for a minimum return on price and tap out.

Run the strategy tester in live mode and watch.

When the trend changes and their is a return on price, the EA will look to unload all positions. This is visible on the equity curve where you see large amounts of trades close and the account losing. It's a Dynamic Loss, no set amounts are covered.

Hi Magix

Thank you for the explanation and good idea about the live mode for strategy tester. BTW on my live account I am still running with RMHC 1.2 and the manual start that seems to work out good so far. Every now and then the EA`s seems to have a wobble by opening position is a very strong trend that unless there is a decent pullback struggles to recover from, that when I intervene and close them manually.

Cheers

Getting a bit of a drawdown on the go! Lets see if the EA can pull its way out of this trend. {image}

Something interesting happened yesterday, I was having a situation similar as the one of Johnsmith2nd and the EA closed all the trades, don't know what it was, since I'm new testing this strategy and I still don't get the gist of this EA.

Here is my configuration (1M GMBUSD pair):

TapOut=True.

If you see trades close out in loss, that's tapout.

Disable to allow trades to try and trade out to profit.

Hey ! How is everyone foward testing ?

I have start the first week with a stress test with very aggresive settings, I want to see the limit of capital/DD/Pairs.

Pretty impressive results but this account will blow in a very trendy situation.

Hi there all,

Thought I'd share first week and a bit results. Settings:

(sorry no screen shot - I haven't figured out how to do that on my VPS)

Sum start 0.03 on 10k account

Time delay: 120
Step: 20
Daily Range: 900
Time: 13:00 - 23:50 (NY)
Magix scalp: true
MACD: 20
Hybridstart: true
Xuicide: 0

Pairs: GBPUSD, GBPJPY, AUDJPY, EURGBP, EURJPY, AUDUSD

I actually only changed to these settings from the default ones last Wedensday. And the new settings have achieved quicker growth but also higher DD.

Overall result since last monday: about 6% growth and I haven't seen DD lower than about 7% so far.

I have recently removed AUDJPY. I am also looking to sub one of the GBP pairs as I don't like being too exposed to Stirling with Brexit stuff. I might swap AUDJPY back in for GBPJPY but hybrid does love the Dragon .

This is pretty aggressive for running 24/5.

And just looking at it, Magix_Scalp is the most aggressive of the triggering methodologies. Given this, I would anticipate that it will be the only triggering you will most likely see and will cancel out the Stochs 5 and 15 trends.

Other than that...have you set a Time Delay on your M5 to 300+ seconds? Just curious.

Officially...

The only True Tester with the Released Version I have running for my TEs is my Stochs M1-M5 Trend - 28.

This is actually the Stochs5NN triggering on an M1 account, trading the NY Session.

I have seen DD to be over 10% of the size of the account - round about $400ish, but being on 28 pairs, I would say this is doing quite remarkably.

Hybrid v1.c has been doing pretty well 2 weeks in.

Over $500 profit for something running on the side is not bad at all, and we only half way through the month.

Live account, 5 pairs, fixed lot.

EDIT: Just realized its not even mid month yet silly me lol, so the results are even better!

Hi guys, done for the week

this week thought I'd try a different method. increase amount of pairs but use fixed lot

DD was defo lower but time taken for successful 'tapouts' was much longer and of course overall profit much lower.

If a pair isn't going to be entertaining any red news for a few days and your account size is modest then this is perfect. But you'll need the patience of a saint when a trend hits, it might be a few days til you wrap up succesfully.

Still using default stochs2 settings

Not bad for an average of 1.5 days trading per week...

Great.

You are usually done by Wednesday ever thought about opening another demo account and restart to enter trade cycles on Wednesday or Thursday to take advantage of the end of the week unwind.
I think it is worth a try (on demo).
