back testing is greatly exaggerated and falsely addressed.At any given time every price is unique.That means all players placing their orders and all different events fundamentals at play can't be replicated.Guys who are obsessed about back testing are delusional in terms of effectiveness of it.Think about this if back testing worked we could hire accountants and historians to trade and they would make millions but reality is not that simple.Could you have predicted Trump trade wars? or any other event.No impossible.One thing is constant are pivots no matter what year month or week.
Trade for real and see if this is for you.Only way to know.

Trying to find a more systematic approach to exiting trades, I closed all my E/A and U/J trades but often feel maybe I get out too early.

would any one recommend using Fibonacci levels for exits?

Also I agree with Davit conditions around backtesting. The only thing you need to improve raw emotions that is about you as an individual and not around statistics.

That part of the quote is a good place to start when trying to find an exit strategy. It's all about you...First, we all trade differently and have different needs. Only you know your risk and reward, only you know your goals, only you know your trading plan. We can all tell you our exit strategy or what to look for but in the end it will be the one that suits your trading style...so best avoid time wasted...I am pretty sure you know when to exit. Don't look for validation, create your own plan.

50-100 pips is fine if you can nail them consistently.
My last batch of trades over 25 positions was over 110pips each.Depends on PA and pair. Don't expect EG to drop 110 pips but EN yes as an example.
I focus on swings=pivots.Focus on it and you'll know where to get out.

Yes, always... ive been hitting this pair over and over for the last couple weeks whilst it was steadily ranging, however it is starting to trend in a generally higher direction tho so be careful in which direction you choose to trade... and keep in mind the rising support line you can see forming...

Another thing worth noting today whilst our US folks are sleeping - NZ data surprised to the upsid today - inflation rising, strong Q2 GDP, and now budget surplus higher than expected and highest since 2008. With the NZD heavily sold last week - it might catch a bid on this news during EU and US sessions as it seems quite cheap where it is now against pretty much everything!

anybody got an indicator that would plot the ADR_V2 list of all open charts in a summary on one chart?
Or would this be easy to code?

Yes, agree. EG is trading on last June levels, but Italy concerns could further drop EUR while positive news on Brexit could boost GBP.
