Hey guys,
Daylight savings will be happening in Australia on Sunday 7th Oct 2018.

Right now Sydney session opens at 7am but will move forward to 8am on Monday.
Do I start the strategy times for the box at 8am to 12pm (4hrs) ?? or would I need to do this 2hrs either side of Asia Session opening which would be 7am to 11am??

Any help would be appreciated
fxmd the scalping chat channel you mentioned is it easy to keep up on the trades or is it after the fact just wondering I have been in chats before and it seems like trades are called late.

Pretty easy if you are paying attention because you have to be quick to get in or out. There are EAs designed to take and close positions quickly.

The best thing to do is observe it in real time on Monday, if you can, there is a 4 hour window of opportunity to do that, maybe 5 hours.

No one knows what adjustments your broker is making; YOYO, You're On Your Own

One thing for sure, I wouldn't be including the last hour of the previous day in the calculations and carrying it over

In fact, the indicator probably won't let you do that, so just set it for the start of the "day" and go from there

Hi,

How to explain depending on your understanding. If your test a lot of ea and download a lot of history date. you will know:
1, your results is from 3 month,it is same with mine if you check carefully from my 12 years results(every drop down on mine pic).So no difference.
2, you will never get same results from mt4 back-test because of difference of history date.
3, you will never get same results from mt4 back-test when your put ea to your demo or live account.

If you're following the rule of "entry after close candle", this would be RR 1.5:0.5, which is risking 1.5 SL and the TP1 is only 0.5.

Hey everyone

I am just wondering if my blue box is on my chart correctly??
I have 16 candles inside the box. I see some people in the screen shots have 17 candles in their box.
Can someone please clarify?

Hi Paulosss66.

Your box is correct.
If you start the session on the hour and end it on the hour you will also have 17 candles. Eg start 01:00 end 05:00.
If you set the indi to start 01:00 end 04:59 then you will have 16 candles.

I prefer to have 17.
