The best way on the longer time frames is to use the Alert Mode and then you can make the final decision.

I have thought of using the crossing of the two currency strength patterns but that always doesn't work either as they tend to just wander around after they cross.

When the heat map bar is very small it could be an indication they have just crossed and it could be the start of a move.

Yen moved while i was asleep.
I saw the setup and placed the BO sell trade before I went to bed around 11pm PST.
The move peaked at 2am PST, i thought i saw this before (timer close? hmmmm ).

Usd did the same move but i did not see the setup, so i did not place a trade.

The latest S9_Toolbox_Dashboard_TS_v1 and the S9_HAS_Basket_TS_v1 have been uploaded to the Web Page under Software Tab.

A Break Out Basket TS will be uploaded later this week as soon as I get the video made..

These are all to be used to create offline baskets and trade them for those interested in Basket Trading.

Be sure to watch the videos.

Everything looks OK but it is hard to tell as to what happened I checked the code and did some testing and it was triggering OK.

I recompiled it just in case and posted the recompiled one at the Web Site, so do a new down load and see what happens.

Here is a test using just the HM to enter and exit, not bad for less than 1 day but needs some fine tuning yet on SL, I will need to look over some charts and see what settings may help.

OK i downloaded the recompiled version.

Some thoughts on the toolbox:

I like the trailing SL (SL button is orange), I saw that in one of your videos but missed the explanation on it, i will look for it again to get a better understanding.
I believe trailing SL on each pair will be better than the equity lock (whole basket) as pairs have different peak times. Some pairs will get exhausted and slow down while others will continue.

I also like how i can see the $$ amount on the SL vs just guessing on how much is the 0.3 or 0.4 that i am going to 'lose' (aka risk) on this pair .

What i am really excited to test is the BO Basket TS when it becomes available. Entries using HAS is a little late.
I'm hoping that the BO lines are moveable on this TS and not fixed just like on the HAS BO lines.

I will also try the HM, it looks promising .

Once you set the trailing stop loss it will trail by that dollar amount as soon as the trade opens.

The BO lines can be either auto Demark lines or if auto is turned off they can be moved with the mouse.

The HM can make some good pips but I am still trying to find what will make a good exit for it, so if anyone has a KIS exit let me know.
I did try the trailing DN SL at .4 but it did get hit quite a bit as shown in my previous post which didn't look too bad.
At present I am trying a SL at the previous High or Low which I have no conclusion on yet.
In this version of the DB HM I did make entries a little faster, I am now looking at the present candle rather than waiting for a confirmed candle.
My goal is to make the HM a stand alone piece of the DB.
I may look at a few other ideas to keep from getting in at the end of a good HM trend, better to get in at the start. LOL

Thanks for clarifying how the BO lines work. I was using the S9_HAS_Basket_TS_v1 and did not see the 'auto' on/off feature on it.
But, no worries, i will check the other indicators.

In the interim, I am trying the HM as well.

I started the DB at the beginning of Asian session today (Wednesday afternoon, PST, my time). I want to test if timing is a factor. I had noticed price change directions on Wednesday nights, PST. Still observing, so no conclusions yet.
We dont want to catch the tail-end of the trend, our SL will definitely get hit doing that.
I am trying a 0.5 trailing SL on this one.
I like the small DD so far.
Let see if this will survive London.

Let's continue our observation. Once we figure out the best time to start the HM DB, the next is to figure out how to maximize the move.
Davit is so good on doing this: time his entry correctly, then hammer the move with multiple trade entries riding with the trend.
Gene, if you can only automate what Davit is doing, then that's probably the end of our search.

I wish i can help with your coding..the problem is, i dont know how to code..LOLOL..

i also have one with Davit's system but used manual entry. this is where i usually fail: making decisions manually.
DD is confirming this fact.

this is the reason why i want this system automated hehehe.

on the HM, should i have a timer close around 2am and do a restart? just an idea .

I am glad to see the fine contributions of how traders are using these tools to trade the Forex Market.

This can only help those just starting out and make everybody a better trader.
