time is not all about , if you know how to manage trade , within minimum time there is a chance to get better result by trading. depends on your trading ability.

I do agree with that. People who are not fit for forex trading for them it may not be a very reliable place. Moreover for some it is reliable as an additional source of income whereas for others it is reliable as the main source of income, although the latter are very few and rare.

managing trade is a difficult task and need a long time experience , i always try to manage my trade by own experience but honestly speaking my experience always doesn't work .

Forex is a perplexing and dynamic field which has vast scope for making gains and profits. So you really should be asking yourself, are my trading skills, knowledge and experience reliable? Because there are a lot of people who profit from forex trading in varying degrees and not in the least because forex is reliable or unreliable but because they have honed their trading skills to perfection. So in a nutshell you have got to work hard if you want to reap the fruits of successful forex trading. And be wary of scams and fraudulent claims/groups.

Let me restate this a little:
FORUMS are a perplexing and dynamic environment which has vast scope to be so helpful but often misused/abused. So you really should be asking yourself...

WHY are you replying to a thread that was started in 2013 by someone that never ever replied to this thread ever again and where people are just re-stating some of the usual cliche and trite repetitive "truisims" that are spouted out all over this forum. For FIVE YEARS. Repeatedly.


Perhaps just let this die and/or let it be locked. If someone wants to search for it, they can find all the juicy nuggets of "wisdom" (*cough cough*) that are contained within this thread.

Not true. You don't need to hone anything to perfection. Not even close. A reasonable attitude and a plan can make Forex work for you.

I really dislike all these extreme statements about "perfection", "expert", "elite", etc. that are somehow attributed to those that can make money with Forex.

Perfection is not possible anyway, because people simply aren't perfect, no matter how hard they try. Trying to achieve excellence is enough.

All of that is true. Which is why it is best to test your methods of Forex on a demo account first, and never start out live. I have been studying forex now for approximately 2 years. I have never gone live, but I finally am in the next couple of weeks. Although it is hard, emotion should never play a part when you trade. Also patience is a must. And never feel like you need to take a trade. Read forums, books, watch videos and other stuff you can find to learn about forex. To me forex is like the stock market, but I feel it is more volatile. And don't be greedy. Not having any patience and being greedy is one sure way to lose it all.

BTW, nothing is reliable in life. Not your job, your marriage, your boyfriend/girlfriend, friends, and in some cases family. So don't worry if something is reliable or not, because nothing is reliable.

Any business is Risky. not only Forex. impotent is how you manage the risk on every business. that same rule apply for the Forex trading. as example if you invest all money in a business on the first time that can be success or bad. so Forex is also normal business. without money management no one can stay long in any business . and to get successe need to work but off

The question is nonsensical.Asking if forex is reliable is no different than asking is a car reliable. The reliability element is scoped at the individuals ability to derive profit consistently over time and keep draw down to a min and not the market itself.

That may be true in some cases. But I can't tell you the number of times that I have been burnt by going out of my way to be pleasant and do people favors, only to learn later that I have been stabbed in the back. Not a nice feeling. It really jaded me for a while, but as I have gotten older, I have let bygones be bygones, and in 1 case, it resulted in continuing a friendship.

It is very reliable, you just need the right system and right money management technique, there is a lot of garbage here on FF so choose your system and where you get your education from with extreme care, also be mindful that 95% of traders fail so you can also say 95% of what you are being told and are reading is garbage,GW

I agree with you about the part of 95% of traders fail and lose all their money, and lots of posts on forums are full of crap. But even with the right system, it can go belly up on you on a trade. I have seen it, I have experienced it. Luckily for me, it was on a demo account. Proper risk management is a must. I think a priority is knowing what is going around you financially in the world. Pay attention to financial news and what is coming down the pike. Unexpected spikes can mean bad news for traders not paying attention to this. These occurrences is what makes me say that forex is not reliable. Everything can be all sunshine, then bam, a storm erupts and hits your SL. Reality bites.

Thats right Gottapip, thats why it is critical to have good money management skills and even more critical is a solid trading education, but without a quality system feeding you the information you need you are walking blind, with all the right tools it is reliable,GW
