Have a question About bots. Do they work or are they just scams? Anyone heard about the forex ninja bot by alan solarsh ? Is this a scam ?

If you would have made a trading robot that makes money, would you sell it or use it?
hint: if you use it you won't have to deal with customers and there is no upper limit on what you earn.
The trading bots that are for sale are not profitable long term. If you are lucky they may be for a while.

Hello to everyone

I usually follow (silently) the thread and specially Gator and Boulder posts. First of all thank you for the posts but moreover for your company. Trading and studying Forex can be such a lonely task but when I enter the thread I feel less alone and because of the friendly tone its like spending time with colleagues.

I missed Boulder post with COT number so I did a little investigation for myself. It seems institutions are acummulating shorts again (11,333 contracts) against the euro despite the euro went to the 1.1750 zone last week. Add that up with 2 more circumstances: 1.1750 is a supply zone and next week is FED decision on rates (expecting a rate rise by +0,25%). This could be leading to a sharp drop. Taking into account that FED's decision is on Wednesday and usually it works like buy the rumour sell the fact, the drop can take place on Monday or Tuesday. The other option in play is more rises through the first days of the week to get some suplply but an ending point below the current price (maybe even below the 1,13.. support).

How Institutions Position Themselves In Dollar This Week

For Dollar, the latest COT as of Tuesday,Sept 18, 2018, institutions increased net long positions in spite of dollar fell

Currently net long 37,456 contracts, up 2.961 from the previous week.

83% long exposure vs 17% short exposure , Longs added 1% and shorts dropped 1% from the previous week

Institutions continued to accumulate dollar while dollar came down from 95.50 high to 94.32 low.

Institutions Sentiment: Bullish

September ATR = 277.3 pips and the monthly average ATR over the past 55 month = 441.3 pips, so still 164 pips are missing ...

1.18024 + 0.0164 = 1.19664
1.15251 - 0.0164 = 1.13611

This Friday is end of week / month / quarter, so most likely we'll have a week with 300+ pips drop, even above the highest 55 weekly ATR = 324.0 pips ...

And China just cancelled schedule trade talks with the US this week ...

Oanada fix was not to auto connect. i had to do it manually to fix it..
