Thanks for the advice & fundamental analysis. Currently monitoring the trade. Pretty sure I shorted this too soon. I'll monitor / hold my position until Friday's CPI, if it gets there without too much drawdown. Thanks again.

Although Davit has cautioned against trading "hyper" Pairs, he prompted a look at EN yesterday, 9-19. Note on H4 EN Descending Triangle.
ADR was in the green and 20 day ADR % 95 less than 120 within the criteria to trade Davit's system.
With a very much smaller trade account, I extracted some pips but a far cry from Davit. However, it may encourage some traders to look more seriously at Davit's system.
Davit prompted the exit at ADRL but also ADR % was red.

A modest 293 pips with maximum of only 6 open positions in accordance with sound money management.

AU-looking to short 4 HOUR TIMEFRAME

Price is at WR78
Price is at previous support turned resistance
Price has a fib extension 141.40%
Price has a 127% fib inversion
Price has a 61.8% fib retrace (few pips over)
(ALL THESE FIBS PRETTY MUCH LINE UP GIVE OR TAKE A FEW PIPS)
TDI is High and turning down (not yet crossed)

Target is the Weekly PP (retest of the low) around 120 pips
SL is above swing high 45 or so pips away and is above the R100
Entry hopefully around 7258 maybe a tad lower
Entry trigger double top on lower time frame or a lower low lower close candle 4 hour with TDI crossed as confirmation

Late night musings from the UK. I admit I was trying to trade the retrace on EUR/NZD which in the end turned out to be picking pennies in front of a steam roller, but I survived and made a profit in the process (trading mini lots live).

The screenshot shows where I bought and sold in the process. 1st Buy - cashed out before GDP announcement to reduce risk with a view of buying again once price action clearer. 2nd Buy - Purely speculative at bottom of spike as I figured it was only a GDP announcement not related to rates or projections, cashed out again as momentum stopped.

If it wasn't for bedtime I would probably look to buy again in the region where I took the second trade.

heavy short on UJ
Its yen turn next to correct
large shorts on EA from 62-63 holding this to 58 this one will not get out early.invested very large positions on this.Its my favorite trade now.will give it time until 58

Hi Jettt, I have no doubt that soon you too will be a great trader like many of the others here. We are in a great place to learn and this forum will surley help us.

My bit of advice, absorb as much as you can from the expereicnd ones, practice, practice, practice to build up your condifence (on a smal live account if you can), use strategy tester on Mt4 to go back previous months/years and study the price movements and their interaction at the pivot points, interact in the forum and ask questions and most importantly read good books to help with the psychological part of it. Trading is more psychological than practical.
