Disliked{quote} Hi OldSchoolFX, with your updates this indicator has been great in terms of visibility and efficiency. The pivot points indicator that I have used for a long time is Pivot_Points _-_ Daily_sShiftedd. It would be very complicated to make a version of WyattsPivots v2.0 to calculate the pivot, supports and resistance according to which I use "ShiftHrs = 5". Regards, {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Dear Juliot; I am new to trading, MT$ and everything related, but I have been reading, studing and following Wayne McDonell using these Pivots and I would love to start my trading practice with them. Where and how can I download MT$ and the latest version of the WyattsPivots v2.0 ??? is this the latest version ??? please help me out. All the best and thank you in advance !!!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Notice on Monday that this program shortens the day by 4 hours. So this means that on Monday the day was only 20 hours long (24 - 4). This in turn will corrupt Tuesday's pivots. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday everything is back to normal and the days are back to 24 hours. It looks like your broker is fine and you don't need to do any shifting. The day should end at 5pm ET (New York Time). -LuisIgnored
Disliked{quote} Sorry if it's not what you need. I use google translate to translate. If I have not misunderstood you want to install mt4. Here link to mt4 to download and install: https://www.metatrader4.com/en. Anyway, if you already have a broker, they usually give you a link to install mt4 and you can even request a demo account to do your tests. In Youtube there are numerous tutorials to install mt4. The last version of the indicator is that of post # 91, all the credits for Luis (OldSchoolFX) which is a great encoder. Finally, my personal...Ignored

DislikedMy fellow traders, I made a few mods to the WyattsPivots indicator to shift the broker server time by a number of hours........
I really don't use the shifting feature since the broker I use ends the day at the New York market close 5pm ET. I tested this feature as much as I could but if there are any issues feel free to let me know. Luis G. {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi OldSchoolFX, many thanks for updating WyattsPivots indicator. The time shift function works ok but still not addressing Sunday candle issue for brokers not using New York market close. On Mondays, the indicator wrongly uses Sunday's data to calculate pivot, instead of Friday's. Would you be so kind addressing this problem?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for your suggestions... I've been reading up on 5 day a week and 6 day a week brokers and it looks like this feature will only work for 5 day a week brokers, for now. Let me look into it and see what I can do to keep everyone happy. My guess is that you have trouble with many daily indicators with this kind of broker due to the short Sunday candle. I simply stay away from these brokers if I were me.Ignored

DislikedMy fellow traders, I made a few mods to the WyattsPivots indicator to shift the broker server time by a number of hours. I also did a few house keeping around the program for readability. Below is a summary of changes: Changes to v2.1: Added time shift functionality for server GMT offset. The added iShiftHours parameter specifies the GMT hour shift from the broker's daily close. Hourly values are used instead in case the day needs to be shifted by a certain number of hours. Only daily pivots are affected by this value. Set the value to 0 if this...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Luis, After your comments in Wayne McDonell's daily webinar with Trader's Way, I located your post here and downloaded WyattsPivots 2.1. Thanks for your help as I am trying to get my system set up for market positions sent to my cell phone. After installing the indicator, it was not immediately clear to me how it should be configured for this purpose. Incidentally, I use an android phone with T-Mobile. Any instructions you can pass along would be extremely helpful! Thanks, JohnIgnored
