Really upset. Broker opened my trade with huge delay, my initial entry was just at low of bar 4. So had to manage trade manually, not following rules, and i ended up with just BE.

do you have histogram/ indicator specifically for spread only... i just want the basic volume indicator plus the spread that use in this system...

Thanks for posting. This is a very nice setup. But it's too early for me to get short. Even now (it's been a bit since your post). As you know, I need to see Price below the Balance Point Line (BPL) and Chart Modes I & II to be red for a Short. I also need price to be on the right side of the Bias Line: the 50% retracement of our Highest Volume Bar that forms a HiddenGAP.

There was clearly some downward pressure on price, which you correctly identified. I just think the path of least resistance is UP as long as price is above the Bias Line. If price could fall below than move back towards it and give a SOW, that would be a place for what call a Front Runner Short (aka Pres78's wheel-house).

I think i have to finally code the trailing strategy, because it was profitable trade, but since i just went sleep - I catch SL. Feel unproffesional, sigh.

What broker do you use? I imagine they would have to be located in new york and have a fairly substantial liquidity pool in order to get accurate enough volume data for CFDs. Particularly for the index CFDs, unless you don't trade those as the commodity CFD volumes all seem to be fairly consistent among brokers. I have been having a hard time determining which broker is best for the purpose of using VSA for the indices.

Hi all, am currently in the learning process of VSA. Just took an entry in EURUSD. Any comments would be much appreciated. Reason for entry follows.

The shaded area is yesterday's highest volume 1H zone as defined by Pres78. The thick black line is the hinge point aka 50%. we have seen that level respected well as in lots of buying came in previous few touches. 3rd last candle from the right we saw a downthrust on lesser volume to the same area where there was high volume before. Next bar was a narrow range candle. Entered at the break of the high of this candle.

do not forget we are not out of the london open range OR above the prior days close .... we need a clear break out and valid test for entry

in fact on a 30 min we just saw an Upthrust of sorts .. pair is not ready to rise yet .

Buys above 1.1604 on a valid test or no supply

By Lo range, do u mean the first 30 min bar that is made after the LO? which means the range is from 1.15911 to 1.15695 roughly. Which means that if the high is broken with a close of a 30min candle, we are bulls for the day and if the low is broken with a close with a 30 min candle, then we are bears for the day?

Just wondering, if example the High of LO was broken and tested with a valid entry, but we are still below daily close, would u still be bullish biased for the day?

Just noticed that upthrust on the 30min, maybe i rushed my entry..

I've been sitting on my hands all day.

For some reason I really want to go long on USDCAD, even though I know better than to go long off of ultra widespread down bars pushing through previous lows.

yupz.. 2 positions taken.. 1st one was a 14 pip profit, 2nd was a 44 pip.. just closed the position, as i saw heavy selling coming in 30mins..

Haven't had the chance to say this pres78, but thanks for your contribution. Have gone through your journal, carefully taking notes along the way, and i have got to say that vza zones are amazing. Volume at volume.

This coupled with VSA tape reading skills is definitely the way for me to go now. Thanks once again. =)
