been struggling to get an EA to work with DAX. I have many backtests that work but struggling with a forward test. back test stats below:


profit factor and drawdown are all pretty good but as said it struggles running in demo.


any advise?

You are testing with spread 2, while I expect it should be 100-200, and it is quite reasonable to add another 100 for open/close slippage, if it is not already simulated. Looking at the expected payoff, you may end in negative numbers.

Backtest no bueno
62920 errors ...wow
spread 2 on dax really?

this EA will not be profitable even if you correct errors

I make EAS like this , I do not sell them, only George Sorros sells them in the the commercial section and the mql5.com site , which is not a scam site full of scammers.

I dunno bro are you still following your system? Seems you have an EA but if it's loosing you average on the trade. Well thing to watch right now is EU for DAX. EU is at NFP data's top at 1.16210. If it keeps going above that you might see more DAX down.

Which system?
Stocks get affected in the future , only if euro remains higher in the next few days, but markets may go higher taking dax with it.

Big picture is still down right now. For this intra day seems they are still undecided and low volume.

The buy the dips mantra is correct but when is the right time to buy the dip is the right answer.
