Guys, as i said before, i am finding that taking trades using channel lines, firstly, makes it an easier decision (imo) and secondly, allows for much tighter stoploss's.

When i see the deep retrace action (as again, i've pointed out on numerous occasions in the past), it is usually corrective and the PA often stays within a channel.

When the touch point lines up or coincides with a decent prior S/D level, it makes it a little more likely to work.

I just placed a limit on the lower trend line with a tiny 4 tick stop and it worked perfectly;





A loss of 4 wouldn't have been any big deal and i guess it was a little lucky that the PA took off Long in a spritely manner, but i enjoyed that one)

Well no problems getting filled with 4 contracts I will continue I think I earned the raise lol

Whereas my focus is a tad out right now! I was answering someone on Viber and noticed a flag or trend line, placed order and missed it by no more than a second, would have been an easy 12+ grab to make a nice day indeed.

I drew the line in afterwards, but left the order in for the screenshot! Look at the Long trade off of the line beforehand... what a screamer that would have been!



No brownie points there, but if i was watching (as i should have been), i would have had a fill off of the line. Yes, it could have been a flagline and break, but the point (again) is that you can use very tight stoploss's off of lines... if they break, they break and your reason for taking the trade has gone...

can't remember the rules for hooks .. is it no more than 3 pb candles and candle body has to red for longs and blue for shorts?

also inside bars don't count as pb candles?
