Dear FF community,

I have one simple question about leverage. I am demoing an almost countertrend EA which is getting good results. Once it used all of my available margin. So it didn't open any other positions. I am trading at a 100:1 leverage.

So my question is:

If I wanted more margin, would I have to increase or decrease my leverage to be able to open more positions?

Or would I need more capital?

Lenny

If it used all of your margin at 100:1 that thing is going to blow you up.

To your question, if you want more margin you will have to add more capital.

So if I had traded at 500:1 for example I would have still had margin to open more positions right?
